Does anyone have any experience with : TJC Dog Training ( Levittown) for one on one training, with possible off leash training ?
Or PetSmart training classes ?

Thanks

I'd be interested in this information too as we just got a puppy and am looking into training.

Re: Puppy Training

about 7 years ago, we did petsmart with our puppy. but it wasn't one-on-one. it was a small group. we learned a lot to help her be an awesome dog.

this is the only time i've ever done anything formal with a dog and i don't regret it.

edited because i don't know how to spell

Re: Puppy Training

I highly recommend calling Barry at Have Leash will train

He did a great job with my dogs and I recommend clients to him all the time.

MY dog trained was recommenced by my vet, my vet used him but I think if moved. I would stay away from Petsmart and chains, I dont believe they are certified trainers

I never used leslie but I know her. She became a trainer years after I got my dog ::The Confident K-9 631-427-4241

Re: Puppy Training

Definitely do your research on Puppy Training. I have never heard of the one you listed; nor did I find anything doing a quick search. So unless they came highly recommended by someone you know, I would keep looking.

I've had trainers come to our house to be more hands on with us. I would suggest doing that type of training instead of bringing him/her somewhere.

I would definitely not use PetSmart/Petco or any commercial place like that for any training.

Good Luck! What Breed of a cutie pie do you have?

16 weeks. A great time to get the straining started. They really begin to retain a lot of info you throw at them at this stage.

Best of luck! Remember - stick with your training. Every day. It’s hard work in the beginning but you’ll have a fantastic dog for their whole life afterwards.
