Just Google percentage of new yorkers vaccinated. It's right there, on several different links.
Mine doesn’t seem to be working either. 25% 1 vaccine. 37% fully.
That was from Monday, my link was 11 am today. They are vaccinated 250,000 people a day, so the percentage already went up.

I don't really care that Dr. Fauci isn't a psychic and can't give us a date for mask wearing. The masks don't bother me...in the grand scheme of everything else we have had to sacrifice, whatever I'll mask up. I've also gone one whole year without even a stuffy nose which is unheard of for me.
The new cases in NY are starting to go down, so are hospitalizations. We have 40% of the state with at least one dose. The vaccine is absolutely doing what if was meant to do- prevent severe illness and death. With the variants spreading and the way B117 crippled Britain, we would absolutely have had that variant take off here if not for the aggressive vaccination campaign.
I don't really care who gets the vaccine. I also don't care if you never want to wear a mask again, although I think the masks are going to be around until next spring.
But please, people need to do some reading before spewing off nonsense. The favorite thing for people to say on here is "no proof the vaccine works". It works. You can find dozens of articles, now using real world data not just lab data, that talks of vaccine efficacy. If you think it's poison and will give you a 3rd head, fine. Believe whatever you want. But just because you are scared doesn't mean it doesn't work. There are plenty of things I don't necessarily agree with or believe in for MYSELF, but I acknowledge that they've been proven to he helpful, healthier, whatever.
Can you please show me the link that shows 40% as I heard much lower so not sure if that was not recent. Thanks.

Why is it so hard to wear masks in stores until this over?
I don’t see anyone complaining that they have to wear clothes when they go into stores or that they are blindly following the masses by wearing clothes.
Masks aren’t my favourite thing, but I wear them because the science has said they can help.
The point many are making is I am vaccinated so why do I have to continue wearing a mask. The CDC and Fauci will not give an answer to that and while I do what I am told in places it is mandatory, I agree with them. You said until the curve is flat, then when the vaccine comes out. Sooooo it is out and you still want people to double mask with no end time.
What’s your point if you aren’t even planning on getting the vaccine? Then you complain about masks?
It’s a process. The date the vaccine came out isn’t the magical date to stop wearing masks. Herd immunity hasn’t been reached with the vaccine yet.
Your logic makes no sense. You have said you do not plan to get the vaccine because you aren’t sure if it is safe. And that’s fair enough, I guess. I can understand that. Then you complain about masks and freedoms being infringed on.

If, and that’s a big if, you have a point, it’s not clear. You are all over the place.
What are you trying to prove? You are expecting someone to make a prediction on a number? That’s not going to happen. No one knows exactly when it will go back to normal. But the scientists are doing the best they can.
If I’m on a plane and it starts to go down, I’ll trust the pilot. He may make a mistake, but I’m sure as hell not going to trust some idiot who watched a YouTube video on how to fix the issue.
Nothing is 100%. Well except death as far as we know...

Watch that video and maybe it will be clearer than what I am saying.
It has nothing to do with the scientists, it is the CDC and Fauci not giving an answer and if they have no clue, you should be scared to take a vaccine they have no clue how long it works nor enough to get back to normal.

You are going to have to accept that for now. There really is no way around it.
To me, people who are so concerned about their “freedoms” really make me think. Often times they are trapped in their own thoughts of not being free that they truly aren’t free.

There is a way around it as I am sure you will start seeing people suing the CDC like they are planning to do with cruising.
Seems like Coumo the only way to get things done is to get on their butts for answers.
