We’re going to have to disagree with this. I believe they are both controversial vaccines for contagious diseases. Both *can* be deadly to that age group.
I was asking a serious question, would you be ok if colleges made that vaccine mandatory? I mean, you are all ok with a controversial mandatory vaccine for a 99% survival rate. It should be masks on campus and that’s it, no mandatory vaccine.
The problem is that just wearing masks on campus is not going to solve any problem. So they wear their masks to class, then go back to their dorms and hang out and have parties with no masks. It defeats the purpose of wearing the mask at all. We can't be wearing masks and social distance for the rest of our lives. Either we need to get the vaccine or accept the risk of getting Covid.
It gives people the security they want....vaccinated people walking around with double masks aren’t going to feel comfortable until every single human is vaccinated and we take another “2 weeks” of triple mask wearing and social distancing to slow the spread LOL
I was just suggesting wearing a mask to appease people.

If you choose to get vaccinated and NOT know a number we need to get to, to unmask then you are not standing up to this. People who sue Coumo are standing up and being able to open their gyms and businesses.
-the one today was a store in Bayport. Many people are doing it everyday and just because you and I might not encounter it, it is happening. These people actually set up meetings to walk around stores.
-I do back up my claims and they are ignored and not issued. I have put many links up here and not one person will come back with a rebuttal.

There is no reason this needs to be crippling our country anymore. Those who need to be vaccinated can be and those who choose not to do not have to.
There has to be a happy medium between vaccinated double mask wearing socially distant people and unvaccinated anti maskers who live life normally. And forcing everyone to get a vaccine is not it.
Get the vaccine if you want it and wear a mask in crowded areas. Avoid any situation YOU are not comfortable in.

I’m confused. When did I talk about unmasked? I don’t care about the stupid masks at this point.
But if you want to know where, go to some youth sports, some bar, there are places where they just don’t care. We haven’t worn masks at the soccer fields since this summer....no outbreaks

Think she was talking to me and not even paying attention to who is answering her lol.
There is pages on fb that are dedicated to people going in stores in NY unmasked. She can find them if she wants. She would rather not believe me though.
I went to a shower the other day here on the island and they weren’t going crazy about not having masks on besides sitting at your table. I even watched an entire group of people coming in from outside from another party or get together in the next room all massless. All walking in to their table. Of course we all put on our masks to go to the bathroom but no one was overly watching and scolding if you went over to kiss and hug friends and family.

VB claims people are doing whatever they want and nobody cares, that's absolute BS. State mandates are still requiring masks and I've yet to come across a store or restaurant that isn't still complying either in NJ or NY.

There is pages on fb that are dedicated to people going in stores in NY unmasked. She can find them if she wants. She would rather not believe me though.
I went to a shower the other day here on the island and they weren’t going crazy about not having masks on besides sitting at your table. I even watched an entire group of people coming in from outside from another party or get together in the next room all massless. All walking in to their table. Of course we all put on our masks to go to the bathroom but no one was overly watching and scolding if you went over to kiss and hug friends and family.
What kind of loser goes on FB to flaunt that they went into a store without a mask? Even worse, what kind of loser seeks out such an idiotic group to follow?

You do realize you can say you have a medical reason (and do) and not have to wear a mask right? This is nothing new.
I wouldn’t do it but these “losers” could be people you know in real life as I see come and shop from where you used to live.

But I'm not talking about outdoor areas, we never wore masks at any point during my son's soccer season. I'm talking retail indoor stores. VB claims people are doing whatever they want and nobody cares, that's absolute BS. State mandates are still requiring masks and I've yet to come across a store or restaurant that isn't still complying either in NJ or NY.
There are many places outside of NY that don’t require it. Seems to be working out fine for them
And ones that do, people still walk around without them. I have family in other states and they go food shopping and it says mandatory but they still don’t wear them. Numbers are not high in that state either. Shocking, right?

I went to a shower the other day here on the island and they weren’t going crazy about not having masks on besides sitting at your table. I even watched an entire group of people coming in from outside from another party or get together in the next room all massless. All walking in to their table. Of course we all put on our masks to go to the bathroom but no one was overly watching and scolding if you went over to kiss and hug friends and family.
What kind of loser goes on FB to flaunt that they went into a store without a mask? Even worse, what kind of loser seeks out such an idiotic group to follow?
You do realize you can say you have a medical reason (and do) and not have to wear a mask right? This is nothing new.

However, my boss called me the other day to tell me that he went to his car dealer to bring his car for service (he lives north of Westchester- not sure exactly where but maybe Rockland?) and he walked in and couldn't put his finger on it at first but something was different. Turns out- none of the staff had masks on. The girls who took your info and keys, the mechanics, the salesmen- the whole dealership staff was unmasked.
And the funny thing was it has been so long since seeing people with no mask that at first he wasn't even sure what was going on- something is different what is it? LOL
I said to him that they are going to end up getting reported. He said yeah, he wasn't sure, he didn't ask but it seems they decided as a company to stop.
Again, not sure what the penalty will be because surely someone will report them for it.
But I found that crazy.
Then he said he was in a large Irish bar- in Bronxville- and everyone was complying until around 3:30 pm when a group of construction workers walked in- unmasked. It wasn't long he said until the bartenders and waiters removed their masks as well and the place packed out so it was shoulder to shoulder at the bar- no masks.
Again, I am sure they will get reported and in their case, the lose of a liquor licenses is your whole livelihood so not sure what they were thinking.
Anyway, it's a beautiful day outside ladies- go enjoy it!

Is it really that hard to wear a mask and have a little bit of consideration for others? Really?
In Asia they have been wearing masks for a long time when they are sick so that other people don’t get sick.
Why is it so hard to wear masks in stores until this over?
I don’t see anyone complaining that they have to wear clothes when they go into stores or that they are blindly following the masses by wearing clothes.
Masks aren’t my favourite thing, but I wear them because the science has said they can help.
