Crankypants - I saw your post to me on the other thread...
The only reason I chose Fridays is because we go out for dinner every Friday night (happy hour) so that's my "lenient" day - KWIM?

I'm noticing that the workouts still feel really hard (harder each day actually since my muscles are tired), but the I feel better the day after. I'm not in as much pain as I was yesterday this time. That must be good, right?

I feel the same way! I sweat during the workouts still, but then the next day my calves don't feel like they are burning!
Completed Day 10 of Level 1!!!!!!!!!!!
Circuit 1 - Okay so I finally did the full 1st set of pushups and most of the second set, although very slowly.
Circuit 2 - FINALLY completed it!!!!!!!!!
Circuit 3 - completed!
I think I'm going to move onto Level 2 since I did 10 days at Level 1 and I'm getting a little bored and have basically memorized everything Jillian says!

Well, I'm so upset!
I did 10 days of Level 1 and wanted to move to Level 2, but the exercises in that part are way too hard on my back!
I have a bulging disc... and there is no way that I can do most of the moves. I did the warm-up and I couldn't even get through Circuit 1 because there was just too much bending and strenuous activity for my back! I think I actually hurt my back AGAIN in just trying to do it!
So, I'm going to stick with Level 1 for now and try to work with Natalie and do some un-modified parts.
I stopped modifying the dumbell press, buttkicks, jumprope and ab exercises so far.
I'm not sure I'm going to make it through the 30 days though! I'm getting kind of bored

Listen up people-everyone who signed up for the 30 day shred stays with the 30 day shred.
No dropping!
Dropping is for the weak and we are not a weak group <--- that is us skipping on the beach in our bathing suits because we feel so good in a bikini.
We stay together as a group!
You are tired? Wake up! It's only 24 minutes.
You are bored? Who cares? It is only 24 minutes!
You are in pain? Work through it! Itis only 24 minutes!
You don't want to? Too bad! It's only 24 minutes!
You didn't lose weight this week? So what, you will next week and it's only 24 minutes.

Thanks! I do the dvd about once a week but now I'll push myself to doing it a lot more during the week and maybe change my other exercises around. I'm planning on doing it tonight after the kids go to bed but I'll post later and let you know.

I was proud of myself though. The day I didn't do the video, I got my butt to the tennis court and played a set! I figured that was the lesser of two evils, run on the tennis court or get yelled at by Jillian

i got the dvd last week and tried it last Thursday..i couldnt walk for two days lol. I went away for a few days but im going to start it for real tomorrow. im using 3 lb weights. Im going to try and do this workout in the mornings and the couch to 5k running program at night..God help me.

How long has everyone been doing it?
Has anyone gone the full month straight yet?
Just curious if you are seeing any effects?
I'm at 9 days straight-feeling good about that but I know I should move up to level 2 because I'm not feeling the work out as much the next day (still challenging during the workout itself). I probably should have moved up yesterday but I chickened out,
So, tonight or tomorrow I'm going up. Wish me luck!

i'm hating myself!
I haven't done it since SUNDAY! my back is just KILLING me!
i started on Monday and I couldn't get through it because my back and hips were hurting too much!
I'm going to try to get back on track though... I guess I am also discouraged because I'm not seeing any real differences in my body!
I think I need more than just three minutes of abs! My stomach is my big problem area.... KWIM??
