This is exactly what I heard, I never heard it being said about Jews. But rumors of Muslims staying out of work were rampant. Rumors saying that the coffee cart people that they usually go to weren't there that morning
 I hope you're not saying all muslim people work at coffee carts 
Anyways, all of these rumors are just plain stupid! They're sickening and don't deserve our time.

I think she just sad the coffee people weren't there, according to what OTHER people said. I doubt that she was talking about ALL muslim people, but it is implied by this rumor that the coffee people weren't there because:
A) All Jews and people selling coffee got some type of "Don't go to work" memo on Sept. 11
B) Muslims were told not to go (as well as the Jews this is all confusing me) and maybe they all went bowling instead, but included in the memo to the Muslims, the nearby coffee people were CCed because they were Muslim as well?

the whole "Holocaust" didn't happen theory is ridiculous. The basis behind it is that 4000-5000 people couldn't have been killed a day. But that just shows the the true horror of the event.

Of course it's false - the whole rumor is ridiculous
As for Holocaust denial - if you type in a search engine something like "Alternative theories to Holocaust" or something, a lot of disgusting sites turn up. The hypocricy and idiocy is astounding, because these people claim that the Holocaust never happen, yet laud Hitler for his wonderful accomplishments. I doubt they are referring to his artwork, so....

Someone asked me about the rumors once, and I was like "Really?" "You feel the need to even explore the theory that there's some secret mechanism that Jews worldwide have of reaching eachother with warnings so that lots of Americans can be slaughtered by terriorists, but not Jews? Really? We're even going to probe it or discuss it?" 
I'm not denying that some people are that ignorant by choice or by the way in which they've been raised, but this friend was not one of those people.

I heard the same thing, that it was Muslims who were told not to go to work. I don't believe any of it, whether its Muslims or Jews who the rumor is about, its hateful nonetheless.

no the rumors I heard had nothing to do with Jews only Muslims. People were saying that Muslims that worked ( in the offices) in the WTC were told not to go in that day. and some of the coffee cart workers/owners that are muslim were not there in the AM. this is what People told me, I didn't notice anything on 9/11 bc I never go to coffee carts . Not all muslims work at coffee carts

ok. We just watched this movie. I'm a bit shocked that a line from an angry jihadist saying the Jews were behind the wtc attacks and they didn't go to work that day was translated into so many people believing this. I was waiting for more of this to be fleshed out. It was one line from an angry man.

DH once got into a conversation with a student about different religions and when he mentioned that he was Jewish, the kid was horrified. He asked DH where his horns went because all Jews have horns. The kid was honestly baffled when DH told him he never had horns, and nobody he is related to does either. I would have loved to have seen his parents face that night when the kid went home with that one.
In the 70's, my friend's dad was woken up in the middle of the night by his college roommate who was touching his head looking for his horns. He kicked the poop out of him
