that's TOO RISKY!!!! I wouldn't even let my DH drive through a parking lot to move to a more isolated area with DD out of carseat!

I did once BF DD while in the backseat and she was in her carseat. We were over an hour from home and it was late, so you gotta do what ya gotta do to feed and calm your child. I don't recommend it!

Even on my 8 hour car rides back home, we always pulled over to feed him. I even had the pump in the backseat with me, but sometimes he just wanted the boob, instead of a fresh bottle.

Didn't matter, we always pulled over if he needed the boob. It's not safe for the mom or baby to be unbuckled. My friend died after being ejected from the backseat of a slow moving car. I always have my seatbelt on in the backseat.

is the baby in a carseat?

I know a few woman who have BF'ed while there baby was still in its carseat.

I've done this more times than I care to admit to. I can only imagine how many people have rolled their eyes at me.

If the baby was out of the car seat. Than no way. I would never put my child at risk like that. Pull over and park the car!

It's really not that difficult. It's easier now than ever because Ryan is older.

When he was an infant it was tricky. I'd literally have to lean into his seat to get it to him.

Now he'll help me out and turn his head Chat Icon
