I'm in a cape and it's in my basement. If/when we ever dormer, it's going upstairs with the bedrooms.

My washing machine is in the kitchen. The previous owner made a closet-type thing for it with a door, so you don't see it. The dryer is in the garage. Not very convenient, but I'm just sooooo happy I don't have to schlep to the laundromat every weekend!!!

I have a hi-ranch, so there's an up level and a lower level. It's on the lower level.
same here, but it's in our downstairs kitchen. yes we have a downstairs kitchen, had to keep the Italian stereotype alive.

Another one here with the Laundry Room in the basement....I will be down in the dungeon tomorrow doing my wash... oh also another one here with the No husband help with the laundry! I guess if Dh did start to help me i would have to worry!

Ours is off the kitchen. We have a hi-ranch too and it makes it really easy. The only way it could be better were if it were down the hall where the bedrooms are. But like a PP said, I always know when the cycle has finished, and I can keep stuff moving that way. Also, I can just toss the potholders, kitchen towels, baby bibs etc over outside the door and then just do a load when I get the chance.

We don't have a basement.
Our laundry room is right next to the garage. I didnt like doing laundry when I lived with my parents because it was in the basement. Now, I dont mind that much.

Second floor next to the master bedroom. I moved the w/d to the second floor since there was already plumbing there.
I have to tell you, there is no other way to go.
ITA - unless you have a leak...we know someone that this happened to and what a mess!
Mine is off of my den - in between the den and a 1/2 bath on the first floor.

Mine is located 4 blocks away... this nice gentlemen comes on Monday to pick up the laundry and drops its off clean on Wednesday. I call him the laundry fairy!    *magic laundry dust*

We put a stackable in, right off the kitchen. It looks like its a pantry but then you open the door and see the w/d.
