Nope, not a bad mom, just a cool one  My son's favorite "treat" cereal is Capt'n Crunch too. He eats it dry in his hands at times.

OMG! I ate Captain Crunch and peanut butter sandwiches all throughout childhood....delish! So my vote is No your not a bad mother at all

Aww, one "bad" lunch can't hurt. It's the end of the school year!
The pics are great. I'm sure he was thrilled to make his own lunch. Next time maybe not so much sugar but one time...not gonna hurt
PS: I never ate "good for you" cereals, I alwasy had Capt Crunch or the ones that were like peanut butter balls and I never had a cavity until I was in my late 20's. Just make sure he brushes super well and flosses daily when he's eating the CC!!

Thats fine.. you need to let him do his own thing now and then. DH thinks this kid will never eat junk food. Sorry.. she will not be an outcast when she goes to bday parties or family functions like one of those kids who never sees junk food and when they do they go crazy. She will eat healthy but also have what she wants in moderation. I did as a child and I am fine. So has he.
What you did wasn't terrible at all. Don't worry!

Well let's just say I'm not rushing to the phone to call CPS I work in family court all the time and one't think this even comes close to making you a bad mom, but rather a fun one like the APs said. Hoorah for Captain Crunch. It's still my favorite cereal deep down so how am I going to say no when my kids are old enough to ask for their CC sandwich?
