Another horrible and morbid question.
We were discussing this the other day, when we were fighting over our wills.
I want to be cremated and keep inside where it's warm and be able to be hugged by loved ones...you know, if they want to give my container a love squeeze.
DH wants to be buried.

His response? "you'll be dead you won't know I'm not next to you"

We both want to be cremated....
ETA: idk if we will be in Jars... maybe we will have our kids or loved ones dump us on the beach... or me on the beach and shaun in vegas or something

actually, I want my body donated to science.
I feel that there is so much that can be learned from a body. Why have me in a hole or in a jar when my body can be used to help students and medical professionals.

I guess I don't care once I'm dead. But I've always been a bit afraid of the dark, so I don't love the idea of being buried.

I would like to be stuffed and either have my head on the wall next to a moose head or kept in the car so my family members can get in the HOV lane.

Generally I'd like to be buried, but I have told DH that if something happens to me while the kids are still young I'd like to be cremated and put into 2 urns so they can each have one. He thinks I'm crazy.

Same scenario here! Needless to say, we still haven't decided on our wishes should we pass.

I would like to be cremated but I don't want my ashes sitting in someone's house.
Not sure what I want done with them... spread them out to sea maybe... I don't know.... it is strange that I don't really care?

IDK what DH and I plan to do...my great-grandparents and uncle were cremated and their ashes buries in a specific cemetary in Coram for cremations. So they get to be cremated but I get to visit

i'd be cremated but i know dh doesn't want to do that, so i'll be 6ft under and I guess the plot will have to be big enough to fit him too.

DH wants to be buried.
my late husband was cremated. His ashes are in a few different places. But the best place is inside of 2 teddy bears. My daughter and I both have one. It really helps when i am or she is having a bad day.

I want to be cremated and have my ashes spread over my family property in Binghamton. DH wants to be cremated and doesn't care where his ashes go, he thinks that once his soul has left it's body it doesn't matter anymore. So if he goes first I get to decide where he goes.

Ever since reading "Stiff: The Curious Lives of Human Cadavers", I'm no longer keen about my entire body being donated to science.  It's a great gift for those who need organs to live, but all the other things they do with cadavers are creepy and crazy. I really don't know how I feel about it anymore.

DH and I are going to be organ donors and donate our bodies to science. I'm not going to be alive, so I really could care less what happens after I die; if something actually good can happen out of it, why not?

i would like burial at sea but i don't think that is a cost affective option so most likely cremation and spreading my ashes. As much as I love cemeteries I think of how many times i actually visit my relatives and i barely go, then you think if we have kids they would go? Nah so thinking I really be spread around.
I told dh i don't want an expensive coffin since I want to be burned or put in the sea said use a wooden box (old school) no chemicals in my body just the next day after I die have whatever you want then get rid of me.
