Can I join this thread? Its not too late I hope. I've been doing nothing but eating my troubles away and with Turkey Day on top of that....
I need to lose 12 pounds!!! I am (sigh) currently 167 pounds and I want to be down to at least 155 by Christmas/New Year's. I think I can do it
Gym every day....at least 1 hour.
Smaller portions and more fruit

Hi, if it's not too late, I'd like to post also. I'm exercising regularly, but I'm still gaining weight, so I really need to watch what I'm eating.
Right now, I weight 160. Ideally, I would like to weight 148, which I think is a very reasonable goal for me. However, I know I won't lose that by Christmas. So, by Christmas I would like to lose 3 pounds. With all the holiday goodies and special events happening, I know I won't be able to resist everything, so I think this is a reasonable goal.
I would like to get to 148 by the end of February.

Breakfast: Egg White omelet with cheese Coffee with 2 tbsp half and half
Lunch: Light whole wheat bread Bologna (I love bologna!!) 1 slice american cheese 10 pringles
Snack: 100 calorie trader joe's oatmeal chocolate chip cookies
Dinner: Hamburger Potato bun pickles ketchup side salad w/ light italian dressing
Gym: 45 minutes cardio

Breakfast 1 packet apples and cinnamon oatmeal 1 pear
Lunch 1 slice homemade pizza (with fat free cheese and 4 reduced fat slices of pepperoni ) 1 apple
Dinner 1 chicken burger (with spinach and feta cheese) 1 light hamburger bun 5 oz of frozen french fries 1 glass of wine
Snacks Baked pita chips and homemade hummus 1/2 cup of B&J's phish food frozen yogurt
I can't wait to eat all of this today

Mon 11/27 ended up being sick over the weekend so still dont have much of an appetite..good news is I didnt gain any wt from Thanksgiving :)

S: fruit n yogurt parfait, 1 slice toast w/ 1 tsp cc
D: 1 pkg oatmeal w/ skim milk

I hope you don't mind if I join this thread too. I really need motivation and support to lose weight. I know it is going to be tough on the holiday's but if I can get through the daily day-to-day eating I am hoping to be OK. I had success last Jan-Mar on Weight Watchers ... losing 12 pounds in 12 weeks. I rejoined and hope to shed about 25 pounds in the next 6-months or so.
With that, here is what my menu looks like today
Breakfast (3 points): 3 oz Raspberries 1 All Bran Breakfast Bar 1 20oz Coffee 1/4 cup Whole Milk
Lunch (4 points): Sandwich: WW Rye, Honey Glazed Ham, Pepper Turker, Low Fat Swiss, Romain Lettuce & Mustard 1/2 cup Spaghetti Squash
Dinner (9 points I would think): Blackfish Spinach Corn Salad
Snacks: (3 points) 1 fun size baby ruth bar 1 wholegrain brown sugar rice cake

Okay, today wasn't so good, but not so bad either. I did resist the pastries at the morning meeting!
Breakfast Cereal w/ Raisins and Soy Milk Half can of Tuna Fish Black Coffee
Lunch 2 vegetable rolls Grilled vegetables Slice of Pie (the not good part)!
Dinner Have not eaten yet--need to leave work now!

Not a terrific start! But I'm PMS'ing and Im attributing it to that!
Bkfst: 1 container light yogurt w/ 1.4 cup granola
Snack: 20 teddy grahams
Lunch: roast beef and mozzarella on oat bread, an apple, and 20 sweet potato chips, d. nestea
Snack: 1 reese's PB cup, 1 mini 100 grand candy bar
Dinner: mini homemade stromboli, d. pepsi
Snack: slice of anniversary cake, i cup skim milk
no gym either....writing grad school paper

Breakfast (4 points): 8 oz Non Fat Plain Yogurt 1 All Bran Cinnamon Breakfast Bar 1/2 cup raspberries 20 oz Coffee 2 tbs Skim Milk
Lunch (4 or 5 points): WW 'Taco' Soup w/ sprinkle of reduced fat cheese 2 slices WW Rye (possibly)
Dinner: no idea ended up with an egg white omlet with mushrooms, onions and peas with WW rye bread. Delicious and filling.

It wasn't so bad after all. I have been doing ww's faithfully online and have been on plan since day one (including weekends - GASP!).
I'm still going but I need to think of something new for the new year

Congratulations AZAD! That's a great accomplishment.
Okay, I haven't posted in a few days. Today I have had the following:
Breakfast: 2 packets instant oatmeal Soy Milk Pinch Brown Sugar Raisins 1 oz. cheddar cheese Black Coffee
Snack: Clementine orange
Lunch: Grilled Chicken and Red Peppers on Sourdough Bread
Snack: Baked Lays (1 serving bag)
Dinner: Poached Flounder Rice Spinach Salad
Probably some dessert. I've been good this week for the most part! Thanks for starting this post. I find I'm thinking more about what I eat--have the feeling a lot of my problem was too big servings or too many little snacks, bites, etc.
As of week 1, I've lost 4 pounds which meets my goal, though I lost 3 lbs. very quickly, like in 2 days and I didn't cut back that much. Iit was probably water weight from Thanksgiving food. I may have lost 1 lb. this week.
