Yesssssssssss to double stroller.
We transitioned my DD about 3 months before the baby came, she'd probably still be in the crib, she loved it. I just thought it would be easier. It worked out great, but it's personal preference. Based on our experience I recommend it.
Is she potty trained yet? If so, be prepared for a regression once you start changing diapers again.
Haha I just took a "is your child ready to start potty training?" quiz and she failed miserably. I'm a little nervous about this, I feel like the baby will be coming exactly when I would've otherwise started it. She will be 2 in May so I'm just gonna go with the flow I think.

My kids are extactly two years apart- born the same week. We used the double for a while. Im selling one if interested:) We also put my son in a full bed and gave the crib to my daughter. We use two high chairs as well.
Definitely interested! I'm kind of stuck on the city mini brand however - the single one I have now is so easy to open and close with one hand. If that's what you have - let me know!

BTDT Moms with kids 2.5 years-ish apart
DD is 2.6 and DS is 1
When we go out they each get a stroller. We looked at doubles and we felt: Side by side - way too wide One in front of the other - the child in front seems so far away
Plus the strollers seem very heavy. We're in the city and having to fold the stroller and get on the bus/subway/taxi - we need the stroller to be light
