she got 4 years in jail = 1460 days in jail
she did 1043 days in jail already
she gets 12 days per month per year for good behavior. ~410 days
That means she served about 1,453 days in jail already and only had 7 left.
she gets out july 13, this wed.
WAY TOO SOON FOR MURDER!!!!

GA was in law enforcement. I think that everything in his training would tell him to call 911 if he discovered his granddaughter had drowned in his pool. Why would GA help make an accident look like a murder?? For fun? Doesn't make sense.
I think the entire family are a bunch of liars and sneaks. I don't think Casey fell very far from the tree and I did read, I think on a post on this site about how GA probably is afraid of Cindy. I have to agree.

I agree with you that the family is totally messed up and the apple did not fall far from the tree. Esp. with Cindy. She got up there and lied basically telling her daughter it's okay. She helped create that monster imo. I don't believe George had anything to do with the cover. However, I respect your opinion. You should not have to feel like you will get flamed for it. We are all entitled to our opinions. I honestly would be interested in hearing you theory. No flaming from me!
Me too. Honestly that entire family has MAJOR issues...especially Cindy. I think George is farrrr from perfect but I do think he is a little more normal than Cindy. Please post your theory. No flames from me. I'm interested to see different peoples aspect on this.

People get longer sentences for being caught with weed...this monster killed her kid and dumped her body like it was trash and she walks free. Where the eff is the justice in that.
12 idiot jurors..seriously how could you NOT find her guilty at the very least of child abuse? neglect? It's disgusting. I truly believe she will get hers. She has no remorse...people like that ALWAYS get theirs.
YUP! This is the problem with justice today. Drugs have way more severe punishments than murder, child abuse, molestation etc.
I was away while the verdict was read and was a pretty active poster on this thread. Around page 120 or so, I said I did not think they would decide on Murder 1 because there was not the "guilty beyond a reasonable doubt" IMO. I absolutely thought she would get manslaughter or aggravated child abuse. I think most of the problem is that the prosecuters did not plan for al eventualities and did not have the charges that could be proven beyond a reasonable doubt. Either way sickening and sad. I only hope she gets whats coming to her whatever way it happens

So what do we all think she will do when she gets out? Like, the second she walks out... what's the first thing you do? Where do you go? Will her family take her back in? Will she WANT to go back to them? Will she disappear? Will she do interviews? I wish I could just step away from this case but I am SO curious to see what her next move will be.

Realistically there is just no way she could return to the family home. Everyone would know where she is. There would need to be police protection 24/7. Her attorneys said they are basically her new family and will be helping her when she gets out. She will probably go live with Dorothy. They seemed pretty "chummy" during the trial.

Yes. This + the unanswered questions, the 'missing' child, the lies...all of it together.
I think it has more to do with the fact that she is attractive, middle class and the circumstances surrounding the child's death/disappearance. very, very unusual. if she strangled her and the baby was discovered the next day and she was arrested, this would not have been such a high profile case.

Although it's unfortunate people are not surprised when crime is commited in the lower class community. Look at the little girl Haleigh Cummings also from Florida who I believe is still missing last seen by her step mother. They are also white but they are poor. Casey came from a middle class family, she's attractive add that to the circumstances surronding the case, the lies, partying and everything else and viola you have a case that captivates people.
Yep. I watched that case on NG every single night too. Nothing ever came of it.
