Christmas dinner menus...what's yours?

I haven't given it much thought but I know I should! I'm hosting about 12 people, the usual. What are you serving? I'm looking for some good ideas!

We have about 14 people.

I think I am going to make a roast pork this year, something different. Definetely mashed potatoes but haven't figured out what other sides yes.

ETA: Although after reading your menus, maybe I'll make prime rib. How do you cook yours?

I realized it's actually a pseudo-Waldorf but we love it.

Spinach leaf
mushrooms
craisins (just a little)
goat cheese crumbles
tomato (optional)
almond slivers
green apple slices
balsamic vinaigrette*

*1/4 c balsamic vinegar
1/2 c olive oil
1-2 cloves garlic, minced
salt & pepper to taste
whisk it together, chill overnight. mix again before use.

Re: Christmas dinner menus...what's yours?

We are Jewish and this is the first year we had no christmas plans. Our Christian relative got divorced this year so we had no party to go to.

I made
baked brie

rack of lamb
peach chutney
butternut squash with craisins and onions

apple pie with crunch topping
vanilla bean ice cream
It was really yummy.
