Daycare Moms - Labeling question
HI, What do you use to label DC things? DC starts next week and we were told we have to label everything. What do you use.....Permanent markers, labels?? I'm clueless. Any advice would be appreciated.
TIA

Re: Daycare Moms - Labeling question
We used permanent markers at first. We also found that labels from a label maker (such as a p-touch label maker from staples) works really really well also! The labels can even go thru the dishwasher and still stay on!

Re: Daycare Moms - Labeling question
For bottles, I would use masking tape and sharpie markers.
For everything else, I just use a sharpie

I love Mabel's Labels!

For DS's blankets and clothes, I used a mix of Tag Mates (also from Mabel's) and a sharpie.

Re: Daycare Moms - Labeling question
I heard about Mabel's Labels from moms here and love them! They have cute designs and hold up really well!
I odered some "mini skinnies", the round shoe lables and a bunch to iron in clothes.

Re: Daycare Moms - Labeling question
We used a label maker on the bottles and plastic things. I labeled the bottles, nipple rings and nipple caps. The only thing that did not get a label was the nipple itself.
For everything else I used a sharpie. If his name did not fit, I just did his initials.

Re: Daycare Moms - Labeling question
I used the Stuck on You labels...they were GREAT! Never came off, went through the dishwasher and were perfect. Best part is..they can peel off and re-stick onto something else.

Re: Daycare Moms - Labeling question
just got the p-touch label maker (brother makes it) i LOVE it the labels are laminated so you can put the label on the sippy cups and wash it or put it in the dishwasher without it rubbing off! i also labeled DD's stuff for preschool. They also make a label maker that can print out iron-on labels (dont think the model i have the p-touch 1280 has this option) i printed a label with DD's name and stuck it on the inside of her coat, not sure if it will stay though... they sell them cheap everywhere, like stapels or target. i got mine at newegg.com for $22! im going label happy and labeling everything in my house
Mabels labels is another option but they are a little pricey
