Daycare Moms...clothes question
What does your child wear during the day each season (winter vs summer)?
Right now Lucas wears sweatpants and top (with a onesie underneath) but I am wondering what I will do for the summer.

Re: Daycare Moms...clothes question
He wears regular clothes. Usually short sleeve onesie and long sleeve shirt and pants.
In the summer, they have AC so most likely, thinner pants and a shirt I can remove when going outside. He will still have his onesie.

Re: Daycare Moms...clothes question
In the winter, Thomas wears mostly Carter's outfits, either one piece outfits or long sleeve onesie (with short sleeve onesie underneath) and pants. In the summer he wore mostly Carter's outfits too. Short sleeve onesie top with light pants. He also wore some short set one piece outfits. They have AC, but it never gets too cool. Always VERY comfortable!!

Re: Daycare Moms...clothes question
Right now, DD usually wears some sort of sweatpants with a onesie underneath and then some sort of long sleeved shirt over it.
During the summer, she will probably wear lighter cotton pants, and maybe a short sleeved shirt. I haven't been there during the summer, so I don't know if they have the AC cranking or not- I guess we will have to play it by ear!

Re: Daycare Moms...clothes question
Ellie is at the same school as Lucas. So far I find they keep it really warm (she is usually really flushed when I pick her up) so I haven't been dressing her overly warm unless it's a day that they're going outside. As far as summer we'll have to see how much A/C they use. I imagine her outfits will be pretty similar to now. Pants with a top. Long sleeves for now maybe short sleeve and capris in nicer weather.

Re: Daycare Moms...clothes question
DS wears Carter's one piece velour outfits, jeans with cotton shirts and sometimes dressy button down shirts (just b/c i want him to wear all his stuff)
In the summer I plan on putting him in a lot of one piece rompers (if I could find them).I want to make sure he is not dressed too cool because I am sure the air conditioner will be on...however, i know they take them on the roof deck so????

I agree..it tends to be on the warm side during the day in the winter and if I remember correctly it was on the cooler side in the summer. When he first started I had him in the short sleeved onesies with light pants or the one-piece rompers but now that he is so much bigger I have no idea what to do.
Where do I find light pants in size 18-24?

Re: Daycare Moms...clothes question
I put DD in dresses with tights, jeans, etc. Just regular stuff she would wear at home. In the Summer I'll probably put her in shorts/summer clothes and bring a sweater in case it's chilly.

Here are some pants from the Gap. The first pair are a medium weight and the last pair are light defintly fine for the summer if he is inside in the A/C even if he is outside for a minutes in the summer. I had them for DS last year and he wore them in the house. http://www.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=35363&pid=541728&scid=541728022
