daycare moms - question
DS will be going to daycare beginning in early November. Monday thru Thursday I work 9-5, so would drop him off at 830 pick up at 530. Fridays I usually work at a different site and used to be there by 8 bc they close earlier. Now with DS, I'm afraid that if on Fridays I drop him off earlier, he has to get up earlier etc- this may throw things off...
Should I just ask my boss if I can get there at 9 on Fridays? I am an exempt employee. I usually stay there til 3 or 4 depending on the site's schedule, but I can work remotely too. I don't think 1 hour will make a huge difference. But I guess my Q is, on Fridays if I dropped off earlier it could mess up our routine right?

I don't think 1 hour will make a difference. I always try to get Mason in at 7:30 am, but sometimes we're running early and he's there at 7 am. THey're good at following schedules. If it changes it's not a big deal.

Re: daycare moms - question
My schedule varies day to day...some days I start at 7...some days 9....each week...each day is different.....
BUT....DS wakes basically the same time EVERY day...7 days a week....so once day care starts...it may not mean your DC wakes only to accomadate that 8:30am drop off.....DC may be up earlier anyhow...so the 7:30am drop may not be a problem......
LJ gets dropped off 8:15-8:30....but he is up early enough to be ready to go at the crack of dawn!!!
Try to ask your boss for flexiblity if you see the Friday thing doesn't work!

I agree...we drop our kids off anywhere between 6:30 am - 8am and pick up anywhere from 4 pm - 6 pm and it doesnt affect anything
