Details emerge in Cobb Co. Georgia toddler death investigation

I agree. I can't stop thinking about it and what the poor boy went through.

I read an article that a witness said the dad seemed to be acting when he pulled him out. He said he was choking but the witness said it didn't look like that. He said the boys hair was soaking wet like he was in a pool, but it was sweat. I feel like I could throw up

Are they sure the child was alive when he was placed in the car.
I keep thinking he may have killed him beforehand and used this to make it look like an accident.

Whatever the case, this guy needs a needle in the arm. F'ing monster!

I can't believe not one person all day noticed that poor baby in the car. Things could've been SO different had someone seen him.

Like if you don't want to be a dad anymore (or a mom) walk away! Pack up and leave or do whatever you have to do! No one is making him be a father. Now he's going to rot in jail (i hope he's savagely killed) and was it worth it? Did he want to go to jail? Did he think he could get away with it? Why didn't he just leave his family! Like wtf did he want???

Exactly!

So many couples would kill to take that baby and give him a good life. Why on earth would you do that to him????? I don't understand. Kill yourself if you're so miserable but to take that baby's life from him is just unfathomable.

It's so twisted that this lunatic went into work, sat at his desk, did his normal work routine, while knowing he was murdering his son and literally roasting him to death. He fuckking went about his work day knowing this!!! It's unfathomable to me. God I hope he rots. He is a different kind of sick.

The coroner determined Hyperthermia as the cause of death. AKA baking inside that hot car all day. Chat Icon

Chat Icon This is so very sad and makes me sick. I keep imagining this poor innocent baby stuck inside the hot car, crying, heating up and thinking "Where is my Daddy"? I just can't deal with this. It's too sad and messed up. As someone mentioned here, he is a very evil man and I really do believe he should die the very same way.

Killing your child is bad enough , but to do it in this manner ! That takes it to another level. It seems like he wanted the kid to suffer before he died.

I can't get this story out of my mind. It's just beyond horrifying.

I just keeping thinking about that poor sweet baby and what he must have gone through. Chat Icon Chat Icon I can't imagine putting my son or DD into a hot car and walking away............on purpose!!! How do you do that to this sweet innocent baby that you brought into the world?!?!?!?!

I just want to cry every time I think about him all alone in that sweltering car.............he was probably so scared, hungry, thirsty. My DS is only 15 months old and he gets upset when I leave the room for a minute, I can't imagine him being abandoned for hours in those conditions!!! How frightening.

I just needed to vent. This whole thing is just so upsetting. I'm all for an eye for an eye. They should put his disgusting ass in a car with the HEAT on FULL blast in the middle of summer in the desert. Let him suffer a long, slow death.

What is wrong with this world we live in?????? Chat Icon

I know we are supposed to be a "civilized" nation and all that when it comes to our justice system, but the fact of the matter is we are not civilized. Not with people like this walking our earth. So I really think we need to go to an eye for an eye system of justice in cases like this. Because this society is going to hell in a hand basket fast. And something needs to change. Our justice system is way too soft.

The fact he went out to the car (now reports are saying more than once) to check if his son was dead yet is unfathomable. I know we're not meant to understand this because we are not on that level of pure evil.

I honestly, truly, unequivocally feel in my bones that the only punishment for him is to be locked in a car in the Mojave Desert and forced bake to death in a black car with black leather interior, just like his poor innocent son!

I am sitting here in tears sick to my stomach

This poor child

I am picturing him crying. Just crying. Begging for help

I just don't understand

I want to be there. To walk by that car

To get him out

Me too. My stomach turns whenever I think about it. That poor innocent baby was tortured. I feel physically ill. He didn't deserve his life to be ended in this horrific way.

Because most of us think normally. Someone who does this does not. Someone who could hurt a child or animal IMO is not in a normal state of mind. Be it a sociopath or whatever. That is why we will never understand how someone could do something like that. I have to say it doesn't surprise me that something like this came out because honestly I still can't understand how someone could forget their child all day long. The whole thing is horrifically sad and sick.

Yes I too believe in a eye for an eye.

Hopefully he'll be tortured in jail by the other inmates. Criminals in jail never fare too well when they kill a child. Hopefully he gets what he deserves in jail. It's the closest to an eye for an eye we'll get.

All I want to do right now is go home and hug the shit out of my daughter. And then, I just want to cry and cry and cry.

I know how you feel!
I'm trying so hard right now NOT to wake DS up from his nap.

I read this yesterday and then went to pick my kid up from daycare. The teacher told me he had a really bad day. Normally I would give him a lecture but instead I just scooped him up and said I dont care and hugged and kissed him for 5 minutes.

This guy is a sick *******. He let his child suffer. I can't even begin to imagine the evil it takes to do this to your own flesh and blood. Someone you are supposed to love and protect, someone that trusts you completely. I truly believe in an eye for an eye. Put this guy in a hot car..
