Ugg, I was just looking at the pictures again and I noticed the freaking a-hole box truck driver sitting in his truck!! Man I want to punch him through my computer screen!! 
ETA: I know exactly where this happened, as I travel that area of Sunrise from the Meadowbrook west to get to my parents house. It was right near the old Cornbread and Caviar restaurant!

OMG!! I am so glad your and your DH got out of that with minimal injuries. Yes your insurance will be paying your medical up to $10,000. I see the guy in the box truck it looks like he could give two craps. I seriously think you should lawyer up becuase if this guy had no insurance he is totally liable and you know there are going to be other drivers going after him too. A personal injury lawyer would be best.
I unfortunately had to get one when I was in my accident in Feb '07 becuase the idiot that hit me had insurance but it paid nothing and he was denying the whole time that he went through the red light. So his insurance was giving me an issue. My insurance paid for everything except $250 when i went over my medical. I sued his butt and his insurance and got $15,000 out of it.
Here was my car. I only walked away with burns to my arm and a pulled neck. The whole front shifted but the airbag helped:

These uninsured drivers make me SO infuriated Uninsured, unsafe and apparently unconcerned.
Glad you guys are both OK. This could have been a tragedy for a lot of people...
