Did anyone transition from Whole Milk straight to Skim?

Did anyone transition from Whole Milk straight to Skim?
I thought when we went for DD's 2 year well visit that the ped would tell me to go to 1 or 2%, but he said skim was fine...Anyone else go straight to skim?

I haven't taken Nate for his 2 yr visit yet but I went to 2%. Is she a good eater? DS is such a terrible eater and turning into a little string bean that I prob won't go lower than 2% for awhile.

My ped told us we could go either to 2% or 1% for DS. He is a chunky monkey, so I chose to start him on 1%.
