Did you give your parents a hard time when you were a teenager?

Were you the rebelling type or pretty square? Obey rules or break them?

i broke a lot of rules... but im the youngest of 5 and i got away with soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much more than my siblings...

i was a terrible student, i smoked and drank at a young age... i only ever got in trouble for drinking once.... im the only one of my sisters not to get into a more touchy predicament...

ETA: my mother has told me a few times that i was the best behaved... i cant imagine what else they did for me to deserve that lol

I was such a PITA. I had the biggest attitude, always had to be with my friends, thought I was the coolest thing ever, etc. etc. etc.

I was also very into the party scene...although I never got into any trouble with the law. Yes, I did plenty of stupid things...but not harmful. My Dad caught me drunk once when I was 17, and I got busted at a party when I was 20. Aside from that, I never got caught, and I started to drink at 15.

I was the "I know everything, You can't tell me who to be friends with"...talking back BRAT!

I'm scared for when DD turns 12! That's when it all began! UuuugggggH!

I settled down when I was about 16 and started working. Working really made me "grow up".

Great question!!! I was pretty good, but I did some things that shocked my mama.....liiiiike skipping school to go over a boy's house. That was pretty much the worst I did.

That and when my mom found out I smoked. I was in college, but it broke her heart. She cried.

I think it's worse in a parent's mind when you are good and THEN you f*c|< up. Because they never expect it from you..and then you get the whole, "I'm not just mad, I am **disappointed** in you" guilt trip. That's the worst. I hate disappointing others.

I was pretty equal. Good student, hardworking, ambitious...but since my older sister was a I had to spice things up. My parents were/are pretty cool.

i was a NIGHTMARE. An absolute nightmare. In all seriousness, I wouldve shipped my @ss off to reform school if I had been them.

I used to lose my mittens all the time which made my mama sad and that always made me feel...sad.

I was fresh....and a PITA from 9-12 grade.

but I got good grades, came home on time (well I "slept over my friends houses a lot" ).

I drove them a little nuts but I got into a good college, did well in college, got my masters, etc. so while I think they would have preferred if I didn;t give them lip...they figure I turned out okay

I did well in school but was fiercely independent and in turn rebellious. I gave my parents a hard time a lot. My mom always said she hoped I had a daughter just like me so I knew what it was like...guess that's why I had two boys

I was always an excellent student but I went through a bit of a rebellious stage at 16 when I bleached my hair, listened to Manson, and hooked up a lot. My parents hated me that year. By the next year I was back to shopping at J. Crew and had a nice preppy boyfriend--they were happy.

Ugh I was a nightmare. I don't think i ever listened to my parents..once. Whatever they said, I did the complete opposite.
I did not do very good in school, hung out with not so great people. I had a nasty attitude and fought with my mom every chance I got.

She always said "I hope you have girls so you know can feel the type of pain you put me through"

I guess God listened to her cause i have a DD and i think #2 is one as well lucky me

I was a good kid. A really good kid. Moody, but straight As, didn't do anything really wrong.

I pretty much was a good kid... never gave my parents trouble until i reached senior yr in hs... and even then it wasn't anything big

I was a good kid. Excellent student, never got into trouble. I would tell my parents when I was going to a party where there would be drinking because I wasn't entirely comfortable with it. I was a total goody-two-shoes, and always argued with my mom that she didn't know how good she had it when she would get on my case about something like cleaning my room!

I was pretty well-behaved when it came to school and getting in trouble with the law. But I am the youngest of 3 and my brother who is 2 years older than me was a complete NIGHTMARE as a teen, so I got away with a lot because anything I did couldn't possibly be as bad as my brother. I smoked a lot of pot and got drunk and stayed out late, had lots of boyfriends and would sneak out of the house in the middle of the night, but never got in trouble for any of it.

However, I had a HUGE attitude the minute I turned 14. My parents said I was the sweetest girl until I turned 14...then I was complete b!tch!!!! I think I've gotten better, but my mom would disagree.

I had my moments but overall I was a good kid. Not that great in school but I wasnt a rebel or anything.

My parents were 'done' by the time I was a teen....I had no cerfew, I could get away with murder... LOL...I was the 5th, and the 'accident'...need I say more?? LOL. but all in all b/c they were pretty laxed with the rules, I didn't really need to brake them often LOL. The only ONE bad thing I did, was lie to them about going to another state to meet someone...said I was going with a bunch of friends...even had my friends come talk to my parents LMAO... and yet I still was going myself. HAHAHA. I still can't believe I did that... but I was young and dumb I guess you can say HAHA. My Mom found out when one of my friends that was supposidly with me was at a traffic light next to her HAHAHAHA.
