Re: Did you give your parents a hard time when you were a teenager? of teenager were you
I was pretty good but my parents were so strict so they made me feel like I was the worst behaved kid ever.

Re: Did you give your parents a hard time when you were a teenager? of teenager were you
When I was a young teenager (12-15 or so) I gave them a hard time. I had a really bad attitude, wanted nothing to do with them, that sort of thing. I didn't get into too much trouble, but I would have if they were more lenient with the rules - and I hated them for not letting me do whatever I wanted
But I was a lot better as an older teenager throughout high school. I'd mellowed by then and had a good group of friends, so I didn't give them much to worry about.

Re: Did you give your parents a hard time when you were a teenager? of teenager were you
I gave my mother a hard time.
She was SUPER strict and wouldn't allow me to do anything. I never really went agaisnt her tho, but I sure answered back, called her names, etc, lol.
She STILL is strict with me..and since Ive been married, I've been doing a lot of things that I couldnt do while living at home!!
I never did any drugs, weed, smoked, etc. I also never drank.
Now..I just drink LOL

Re: Did you give your parents a hard time when you were a teenager? of teenager were you
I def had a major attitude and said lots of mean things to my parents. I cut school a lot and smoked cigarettes - didn't really drink/smoke pot until college. I still got good grades - but thinking back now I wish I wasn't so nasty

Re: Did you give your parents a hard time when you were a teenager? of teenager were you
I was the quintissential goody-two-shoes up until my senior year in high school, when I became a total rebel. Started drinking, smoking, cutting class, staying out all night and lying about where I was. It got pretty bad - so much so that I lost a full-tuition scholarship to College based on my last semester grades in high school because I was cutting too much.
It all came to a SCREECHING halt when I was out one night in Astoria, on a Tuesday, at around 3am, on a date with some random guy, and on the ride back home I got into a horrendous, horrendous, horrendous car accident. Car flipped 3 times and landed upside down.
I came out alive and unscathed, thankfully, but it really shook me up and got me back on track.

Re: Did you give your parents a hard time when you were a teenager? of teenager were you
I was all about the "my parents don't understand me. I'm going through the most dramatic experiences, LIKE EVER, and no one gets me but my friends!"
I drove my mother nuts with crappy boyfriends. But other than that I was a good kid. No smoking or drinking or sex. Came home within my curfew and obeyed my mom's rules.
Just bratty I guess.

Re: Did you give your parents a hard time when you were a teenager? of teenager were you
Wow...yeah. I wasn't a drinker/partier stayout, mischievious type though. I had a steady BF from 16 throughout the rest of my teenage years, so it was more about lying about where I was going.
For example, I once told them I was going upstate to visit my friend in school when in actuality I was really going down to NC with my BF. Then I did it again, except the next time the destination was VA.
There were many other things too.
After that relationship was over, I proceeded to invite a Marine who was stationed in Japan to come spend the holidays at my parents house for 2 weeks (without asking them...and he CAME!).
I wanted to add that now, as an adult, I do feel bad for doing the things I did. My parents and I just laugh about these things whenever they're brought up, though.
I was baaaaad!

Re: Did you give your parents a hard time when you were a teenager? of teenager were you
My parents were always really cool...they had specific rules and if I broke them there was a consequence. I never really had a curfew, but always had to call if I was going to another place, or going to be late. I respect them and they respected me. We are so close now and I am 28

Re: Did you give your parents a hard time when you were a teenager? of teenager were you
HORROR. My mother constantly said that she wished on me "5 girls just like you" so I would know her pain I hated school and skipped a lot, always got into fights, ran wild with friends, always pushed my limits, everything was all about me me me 24/7. My mom worked nights, so I started working, dancing for a club (party scene) when i was 16 , i still remember the name ! Warsaw lol. and then it REALLY went down hill.
Looking back, I really regret putting my mom thru that

I was pretty well-behaved when it came to school and getting in trouble with the law. But I am the youngest of 3 and my brother who is 2 years older than me was a complete NIGHTMARE as a teen, so I got away with a lot because anything I did couldn't possibly be as bad as my brother. I smoked a lot of pot and got drunk and stayed out late, had lots of boyfriends and would sneak out of the house in the middle of the night, but never got in trouble for any of it.
However, I had a HUGE attitude the minute I turned 14. My parents said I was the sweetest girl until I turned 14...then I was complete b!tch!!!! I think I've gotten better, but my mom would disagree.
This is me to a TEE. I had 2 brothers that were SO out of control that I seemed like an angel even if I wasn't.
