no I went with my Mom and MOH. When we went for Mom and MIL dress shopping I tried the dress on for her then.

The first time was just me, my mom and my dad (and maybe my sister?). My dad paid for the dress so that was the most appropriate.
My now-MIL was invited/came to dress fittings though.

i did not have a wedding, but id i did or shall i say when i do, i will most def invite her. she is like a mother to me and has been since me and dh started dating. i love her although she pisses me off, she is an incredible woman and i value her opinion

My MIL lives out of the country, therefore no.
I barely went dress shopping. I found my dress right away and that was it. I didn't have that bridal gene.

heck no! and I think it should be the bride decision to invite MIL if she want her there, if your mom send the email the bride may feel obligated to invite her.

no, but I also didnt bring a herd of people. It was me, my sister, my mom and my grandmother.
I did bring her to the bridal salon after I ordered it to try it on and show her. Shes meddling and a PITA sometimes, but shes also wonderful and would do anything for us, so I wanted to share it with her and wanted her to be involved in the "girly" part of wedding planning.

Nope, i didn't even go with my Mom. I meant to but I was BM dress shopping with my cousin that lives out of state, while she was back here, there was a snow storm and the bridal shop was dead - all the brides had cancelled their appointments so they asked me if I wanted to look, I had 4 sales people and the store all to myself! it was awesome!
MIL saw the dress when i walked down the aisle.

My mom lives OOS so she didn't come. I went with a friend. MIL is most definitely not a mother figure to me.

My mil came shopping and to all my fittings. She has two sons and really wanted to be a part of it and we get along great.

My MIL came with me once (she lives in another country. She didn't ask but I thought it would be nice to include her since she wouldn't be involved at all in any of the wedding stuff.
What you could do is mention this to your brother so he can feel out the bride to see if she would invite your mom- which would be really nice.

Yes. My MIL, mother and grandmother all went dress shopping with me. We got along very well (she has since passed away).

Yes, we are very close and both my mom and MIL get along well so my mom didn't mind at all.
It was my mom, FMIL, niece (my sister couldn't come), FSIL...
I picked out the dress.
My parents came to the 1st fitting, my MIL came to the 2nd with my parents and just my parents at the third fitting.
My MIL also came for my make-up and hair trial b/c my mom was having minor surgery to have something removed.
We had a great time and both my family and DH's family were involved.

I didn't, mostly because she lives 4 hours away. But I wanted to go with just my mom.
I did make a special appt to show my MIL my dress when she was in town after I had made my final decision.
