Yes Chat Icon I'll have a vision that I'm going to trip and fall down the stairs while holding her and things like that. I had them when DS was a newborn too though and they went away at some point.

this tripping and falling fear of mine was so big when DD was a newborn. so much so that I made DH or my mom or sister carry her when we were outside on concrete or stairs. In my mind, none of them would drop her, but I might! crazy right?
but yes, I still have crazy fears all the time when driving or at night i am afraid she wont be in her room when I check on her. I am nuts.

Yes, I definitely do. The most recurring one is that I will lose one of my kids somewhere and imagining how scared they would be.Chat Icon

Me too!

If I am driving over an overpass I see the car flying over the side and crashing on to the road below.

Anytime there is railing or something in a house or store I picture falling off with DD.

When she is in her crib and sleeps late I think I will walk in and find horrid things...

it is terrible.

OMG yes....I thought it was just me. I always picture car accidents when driving...or driving off bridges...or the kids falling down the stairs outside ...and I always imagine scenarios of them not breath ing when I go to check on them...or things like poking their eye out if I have them and say a pen in my hand...stupid nonsense th oughts....but seem so real at the moment.

I think it is totally normal. I have these horrible fears that someone will break down my door and kidnap DD.

Yes. Constantly. Its terrible. My mil wanted me to let him fly alone, but I kept thinking what if I was not there to comfort him. I hate thinking of him ever being scared and in danger!

All the time. I have this complete irrational fear that while at the beach a wave is going to come up and sweep him away.

Me too!!! That's why I don't go to the ocean beach, we only go to the bay beach. The ocean just scares me. Never did in the past, until I had Gavin.

Also, I have a fear when I am driving that he will open the car door and fall out. Even though the door is child locked and he is strapped in a car seat.
