ok-I usually stay far away from the drama threads but I truly think the OP might have difficulty processing information so I tend to give her benefit of the doubt. Her style of writing makes me think there are other issues here and I think the drama seems more dramatic because of her delivery.

But it just seems to me that there is much more than greed is going on here. I am only asking because there has been a lot of drama lately and people remember things from years back.
I couldnt tell you what I did a couple days ago and I find it very difficult to remember what screen name said what and when?

im sure people have file cabinets full in alphabetical order, by year, with full screen name profiles attached of every drama thread since 1980 Then they go and create multiple FB pages, and spend hours there bashing the "losers" here bc 9504859485 pages of post here are just NOT enough for peeps. While you and I are on the swings

But what you wrote really upsets me! We had our share of posters taking advantage of people. And a lot of us have become suspicious.
But some posters REALLY deserved to be helped. And now they feel they can't take any help because they don't want to be called the next Janet. Really sad!

I don't want to participate in the drama but honestly I find this remark to be super condescending.

I was making no judgement about whether she has issues or not, but many of the posts on this post either imply or go right out and say that she DOES have issues People are going so far as to criticize her level of mastery in the english language. I just think if you REALLY feel that way, that she has "issues", then it doesn't seem like she probably has the same level of self-awareness, or control, or whatever that everyone else has. I'm not saying it's true or unture, but just based on what people are posting here, the posts make it sound like she's unbalanced, "sick" and may have cognitive issues. If you truly believe all that, then I think it's best to just let it go because the person you're describing probably can't help it, and probably isn't doing it out of malicious intent, and probably doesnt have the werewithal to change her behavior, so calling it out isn't going to help, but can appear to be picking on a mentally/emotionally impaired person.
I have spoken with Janet, but I know NOTHING of this drama. it came at a time I wasn't on LIF. I'm just saying that if I were to just go by what you are describing here, it sounds like a bunch of fully able people trashing someone who is not fully able. But I DO think it's possible that she did have good intentions in this post but they got lost. Maybe she was trying to acknowledge the drama but say we should listen to her anyway (taking it on face value), or maybe, based on what is described here, she really can't help bringing attention to herself.
I really to believe that based on what she's gone through, she's sincere about wanting people to get living wills. Of that much I am pretty certain, which is why my initial response was to just thank her.

To me that screams of someone who has no real understanding. She could have easily just made another account with a different fake name to vote for her contests.
The responses on this thread are astounding. Especially the dyslexic comment, and the subsequent laughs about it. Having a family member with dyslexia, who often transposes things, this is disgusting to me. What's even more disgusting, is that LIF has allowed this thread to remain. A thread that is flat out bashing someone over and over. And don't tell me they haven't read it, because one of them was on here last night posting.
