Facebook friend request...
Do you get friend requests from people you don't even know? I know some people accept because they want to see how many friends they can get( I have a coworker that does this)
Right now I have about 6 friend request from complete strangers that I have no intentions of accepting...
So I was just curious what do you do?

If you keep them pending, you appear in their feed unless you specifically block them. I usually check to see if we have friends in common to figure out if maybe I just don't remember them from hs or something. If I don't know you....ignore

I never accept friend requests from people I don't know.
Sometimes we even have friends in common, and if I don't know them then I still do not accept them.
It's sooo hard to keep your privacy with FB... and this is a small attempt on my part...

I usually send a message saying something like this:
Hi (insert their name)
I notice you sent a friend request. Unfortunately I do not think I am the (insert your name) you are looking for.

I have had a few people looking for distant cousins and stuff friend request me. I try to be nice just in case.

same, if it's someone I recognize & have mutual friends with, I generally accept.
If it's a complete stranger, no way... I have no idea why they requested me or found me to begin with & I don't want them seeing my info.

I usually send a message saying "Sorry I dont remember you" . Its usually one of my dh's friends trying to be friends with me.. I ignore.. He has about 5,000 friends.. He accepts everyone! he knows about 14 of them!!

I ignore them unless we have a bunch of mutual friends.
There are a lot of bots so I don't trust them.
I see no reason in accepting someone that I don't know with all my business.

I play a couple of games where it's beneficial to have a lot of friends. So if I get a friend request from someone that references the game - I accept them but they are in a special friend group with limited access to my personal information.

If we have no mutual friends, and I have no idea who they are.
IGNORE friend request and that's it. I'm not a friend collector. I actually purposely try and keep my list at under 200 friends.  When it gets above 200, I usually will delete people. I don't need complete strangers as friends!

I even had one this morning on Skype. The person said "hi I can across you and thought you seemed interesting"... really, what makes me interesting? All I have listed is my name and Long Island, NY. So many creepers out there, I just hit ignore!
