Re: For moms who BF and EBF, how do you feed DC while you are out?
When Sasha was very young, I always took a bottle because i just wasn't comfortable for a variety of reasons. Now I just use a nursing cover-- and try to find a comfortable spot. I gotta say-- that's easier than dealing with a bottle when we are out. As you get more comfortable with breastfeeding in general-- it will get easier.

I fed her everywhere, I was really descreit and most people thought I was just holding her to sleep. If I couldn't do it in public I nursed in a dressing room or public bathroom (that was usually a challenge )

Tricia, can you share what this peanut shell thingy is? Thanks! I haven't done the BF in public thing yet...unless you count doctors offices!

here's the link. Just try it at home first. Since he can get hot I just cover his head only and leave the rest of them outside the cover. He does fine with it. but, FLIPPED out under the shawl one. He couldn't see me and I know it got hot since I could feel the heat funneling out on me!

DS is only three weeks old, but I've fed him in public a few times already. I usually do it at the table and put a cloth diaper over my shoulder and drape it over his head. I also wear a camisole or nursing top so I don't have to lift my shirt up.

I nursed wherever I was - restaurants, food courts, car dealerships etc. I always wore glamourmom tanks when I was out so I'd only have to uncover what the baby needed to nurse on... her head was my coverup.

I either just nurse wherever I am, with my cover (bebe au lait), or, I'll pump right before I leave, put it in a bottle, and feed Yael on the go.

I have no shame, so I nurse wherever DS needs to. If I am near the car or a designated nursing area I'll do that because it's sometimes more comfy. Other than that, I just find a good spot & nurse him.
I usually wear a tank top under my shirt (the ones that are like $6 from H&M work great). I pull the shirt up & the tank down. Everything remains covered & DS gets to eat.

Same for me, I have nursed in the car if there wasn't a place to sit, I won't nurse in a restroom (unless there is a lounge). I just bring a receiving blanket with me to cover up.
