We just bought new doorknobs and locks from Home Depot... it wasnt too expensive...
Same here...Plus I wanted to change the style door knob that was on the door to begin with so changing everything just made more sense.

What would you recommend more? The locksmith or the home store like Lowes?
ETA: FIL thinks it's going to be too hard to unscrew the doorknobs/dead bolt and install a new one.....what was your take on replacing them by hand?
It seemed very simple. DH did them in a couple of minutes.
