"Hold the door."
Quite possibly the single most heartbreaking scenes of the entire series.

That was awful. I have chills thinking about it. Poor Hodor. I'm so sad for him and it's just a show.

It really was haunting- I thought about it well after the show ended. And another Direwolf bites the dust.

Just so so sad. I was not expecting that at all. I loved his sweet nature so much and to think that Bran was the cause of his seizure, just tragic.
Can we talk about that slimey little shit Petyr Baelish and how he got off easy with Sansa? She should've had Brienne cut him down right then and there.
But I'm also annoyed that Sansa lied to Jon about how she got information about their uncle's army. Makes me nervous that she even lied to Jon at all.

Ugh I know- I don't know why on earth she would trust him! DH thinks he actually did not know about Ramsay, but why would he lie to Lord Royce in he Vale if he genuinely had no idea what a scumbag Ramsay was? I would've had Brienne kill him on he spot too- I doubt her uncle is back in Riverrun with an army just waiting around for someone to defend. I don't know what his game is though- what does he have to gain? Is he trying to make Robin Arryn warden of the north? Or hoping that if he gets rid of he boltons but there's no Starks around that he could just tell robin to make him lord of winter fell?
ETA: imagine if Sansa did have him killed? He is the penultimate puppet master in this game! Everything started happening because of him conspiring to kill John Arryn.

Game of thrones
What did we think of this last week's episode?
All those vision that Bran had! Something tells me that Bran is the reason that the Mad King went mad in the first place. Maybe something similar to what happened to Hodor when Bran goes back in time.
The wildfire blowing something up makes me also wonder if we were seeing the future and maybe that could be King's landing?
Can't wait for this battle for the North to occur. Crossing my fingers that Walder Frey and Ramsey Bolton get killed soon.

I thought it was great - i'm so loving seeing the story progress now. I was soooooo excited to see Benjen Stark! Finally!!!
Yes, i've heard similar theories about Bran being the reason that the Mad King went mad.. I thought the wildfire we saw was when the Mad King was saying 'burn them all, burn it all' and that's how it happened.. with wildfire.
Was happy to see Arya pull out Needle from its hiding place and hopefully she's going to kill that miserable ****** that has been tormenting her. If she ends up leaving Bravos after all this..its going to be a bit of a waste of time, but i guess she realized she wasn't cut out to be an assassin of regular people. she only wants to kill people who she wants!
Disappointed in Tommen and Marjorie's turning to the Faith now - hoping its part of a larger plan that Marjorie has concocted and has just convinced Tommen to go along with it since he can't think for himself. I was so looking forward to a bloodbath on those steps, oh well.

Re: Game of thrones
Wait... How could Walder Frey have Robb stark or his mother? We saw them die... Horribly. I thought we even saw Robb Starks head on a spike after they cut it off to sew grey winds head on his body? I don't buy it at all.
I was bored by this weeks episode. I can't really remember one big thing that excited me this episode. Tommen is such an annoying push over and I don't know what Margery's game plan is but I doubt it's a good one. I thought there was going to be a big old bloodbath between the Tyrell's and the faith. The only good thing was the arrival of benjen though what he is now remains to be seen. I wonder if he's a character from the books that they've left out as of yet. Don't want to mention anything more in case it turns out to be a spoiler!

I highly doubt it's Robb Stark. He's pretty dead, and removed from his head!
Frey had Catelyn's cousin captive though, right? Is that what you're referring to? they showed that in the episode, or at least in the preview..
In the book there is a whole other storyline with Catelyn, but nothing remotely even close to Walder Frey keeping her captive so I would be SHOCKED if he had either of them kept somewhere.

Benjen is in the books, but exactly the same way as he was shown in the show.. which is to say he was referred to, but we never knew what his storyline was. Which was why i was so excited to see him in the show finally!

Game of thrones
Walder Frey has Edmure Stark -- the Stark that married one of Frey's daughters before the massacre of the Red Wedding. That was the guy who we saw Frey take out and say "you're going home."
Catelyn and Robb Stark are definitely dead.....but there's a book spoiler of a character they might bring to the show this season.
Does anyone else think that Khaleesi is going to become the villain against all the houses in Westeros? She claims she's not like her father, the Mad King, but she's teetering to me in how much she wants that iron throne and what she's willing to do. The power of those dragons could end up making her lay waste to anyone who gets in her way.

Edmure isn't a stark- he's a Tully.
I saw that Dany as the villain theory being thrown around too- I can totally see where they are coming from with it. I hope it's not true though- or maybe it will be at first but ultimately everyone is gonna need to band together to deal with this white walker situation. Dragons seem to be an integral part of defeating them.
I really do hope they do the Catelyn Stark storyline- I thought that was great in the books.

He hasn't come back in the books yet (from what I'm told) but it seems as though in the show they are blending Benjen with Coldhands from the book.

It's Edmure Tully, not Stark. He was the groom at the Red Wedding. He's "going home" because his uncle, Blackfish, has retaken Riverrun and Frey wants his sons to kill Blackfish and take Riverrun back.
