Had a heck of a scare yesterday....
I'll try to keep this short...
Yesterday morning I was at work and all of a sudden I felt that "wet" feeling and ran to the bathroom to see that I was having some semi heavy bright red bleeding!! Yesterday also marked 11 wks for me.
I nearly had a breakdown in the bathroom but I pulled myself together, went back to my office, called the doc and asked if I should come to the office or ER...they said to calm down and come to the office.
I called DH told him the deal and asked him to come home so he would be there after the doc.
Got to the doc and I was still bleeding, they sent me right back to see the doc...had and internal and she said she could see the bleeding but the blood was starting to look old and that my cervix was nice and tightly closed up.
Sent me over to the sono room and did an internal sono...they tech was so nice, before she even did anything she said i see the HB and baby looks fine. WHEW!!!!
She did her stuff baby is looking great, HB was nice and strong at 156 and baby is measuring 1 day ahead.
Went back to see the doc and she couldn't really give me any explanation for the bleeding, it could have been from my growing uterus, or the sac moving, or just some women bleed.
Either way, baby is doing fine and i've been told to just take it easy for the next few days and NO Stress.
I guess that wasn't really short but please send me some  that Goober stays nice and strong.

Thank god everything is ok! My best friend had really severe bleeding around 12 weeks and it was really just nothing, so it's not that uncommon. Glad your mind is at ease now

Glad to hear all is okay! Are they suggesting you be monitored more frequently, or is this just a fluke thing, because I know some girls do bleed during pregnancy.

Thank goodness everything is ok. I went through the same thing around the same time. I was a MESS. Didnt know who to call 1st. Couldnt calm down enough to call anyone and was home alone on my lunch break from work. I was told to stay on bed rest for the weekend (it happened on Friday). Soooo scary and traumatizing, but thank god my little pumpkin is doing great now.
Glad to hear you are too.
