I am due end of April and hope to work until middle of April. I will stay home 6-8 months with the baby.

Since I teach, I will be working until the end of the school year, which will be 4 weeks prior to my due date. Under our contract, we are allowed 6 weeks paid leave (via sick days) (8 if c section) from the day the baby is born. I will either be returning to work upon the end of this time or possibly staying out until November depending on how things go-(if we take leave past our alloted paid time, it is considered extended, and then we must wait to return until the start of a marking period.)

I really want to be a SAHM. We can thankfully afford it, but I love my career so much. It is a dilemma.
