I EBF for 8 weeks.
The at 8 weeks I started to supplement with formula (12 oz per day). I knew when I returned to work that pumping more then 1 time day would be impossible. From 8 weeks until 6 1/2 months we stuck with that.
At about 6 months I started to produce less & less because of several late nights at work thus missing BFing DS at night & late pumping sessions at work and also some early morning start times at work had me missing BFing DS again. When I had to pump instead of BF in the AM AND PM so much in a week it messed me up.
I wanted to go longer but stopped at 6 1/2 months.

I could nto BF my son...with the new babies, I hope to BF for at least 6 months....
I think that is great Donna especially when you weren't that interested in BFing Noah. It's hard but it is worth it.

I BF my son till he was 5 months. My goal was 6 but the pumping at work was just too much.
