Thanks for all the replies
I wondered if there was a better way that I wasn't thinking of. I don't like to leave either of my kids in the car, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. Had I woken DS I think he would have been very unhappy and whiny and probably woken DD as a result. I did not want that I don't know anyone who wants to deal with 2 kids that have been woken up at 11pm

I usually carry baby right in door then go out for my 2 yo.
