HSG and blocked tube
Hi girls,
Happy New Year! I just had my HSG done today after 7 months of ttc and I was able to pull up the report (terrible idea btw), and saw that my left tube is occluded (and based on the image it looks fully occluded). Right tube is fine. I'm wondering if the dye would clear the block, and if it happened, would the dye spill over during the procedure.
DH is rolling down the hill with IUI and all that stuff. Sorry for the random babblings.. I don't what I was thinking when I pulled my own report..

Re: HSG and blocked tube
Sometimes the dye clears & sometimes not. If it clears, you should see spill over after a while.
It's good news: should take you longer to get pregnant because the chance that you are ovulating out of the correct side is 50:50 (so you have really effectively been trying for 3-4 months).
I would go with medicated IUI if you want to get pregnant fast. May get ovulation from both sides...
