I am so bummed..this summer has been the worst (vent)

Once again, the pregnancy has nixed my plans. The one trip i look forward to every year is a camping trip and instead of going for a week since i have a section on the 7th we were only going to go saturday and sunday. The OB told me if was fine to go but everyone thinks i shouldn't go because im too close and i might go into labor up there. It's 3 hours from our hospital. Maybe they are right, it just sucks. There will be family there i haven't seen in almost a year.
Haven't been able to go 4 wheeling or go on the motorcycle and we take the motorcycle to Bar Harbor every year on July 4th for the parade, missed that. Missed the fireworks becaue DH fell asleep and can't ride on of the fair rides this year either.

I know it's all for a good cause and will be here in 2weeks-ish, it's just been a sucky, uneventful summer.

I know how you feel. I didn't see the fireworks, can't go to the fairs, no Great Adventure trip this summer, and the list goes on It's all going to be worth it though

I know how you feel. I got very bummed this week bc this is the week that I usually come up your way & spend a week at my summer place on the lake. this is the first year I am not there since I was born. Of course, my parents have a new ski boat & alll. So I can feel your pain

When I was pg with DS I was put on bedrest for 6 weeks. It was 1/2 June and all of July. Then b/c he was a c/s baby I could still not go swimming. We had to cancell our vacation plans too. But it is ALL worth it in the end.

Believe me I know....

I havent been able to take my 2 yr old anywhere at all ..Our family vacation , and to see family we havent seen in 2 yrs was cancelled, cannot go to the beach cause it wears me out too much, can barely even play in the backyard.

Sitting inside a lot with a 2 yr old all summer has not been fun and I wish it were different, but its not and cant be so I just suck it up...Theres another summer coming in 10 months
