the people who live in this building would not be happy- If I don't like the resolution- I will show up at the next board meeting- it's a co-op
I am pressing charges- the car was stolen - I am sure they will be able to tell who
they have alot of tapes to go thur- I am just glad they tape it
I would honestly get someone else involved so those tapes DO NOT disappear
I absolutely agree. A call to the police AND an attorney.

These guys would be lucky if they got caught on camera and were fired. Jake's a big guy and I can't imagine how p i s s ed he is right now.
I would demand to see the tapes too.
I hope they take this very seriously and handle it quickly.

that's why I don't want him going in there and saying anything
and why I just called instead of going down there and making a scene
I don't want them to know - they anything happened- and just deal with the management
I don't want those tapes going anywhere
the car needs a new transmission- it's not even 2 years old
he said he was shifting yesterday from 1st to second and going into 5th
I think it happened sunday night- the car was parked really close to the booth that night- b/c we went down to look for something-
Saturday night- he took the car out late- and he would have noticed it then
so my bet is sunday-
the thing is since we are new- we have a "floating"spot- so we have to leave the keys with them- most other people have assigned spots so they take there keys

she told me I am changing my story b/c I asked her to go back and check the tapes from when we moved in
I think I need to call the police at this point

I just called 109th
and boy did I get the right one on the phone- he was a total car guy- I could here the upsetness in his voice
I am going there after work and filing a report- then they are going to get the tapes tomorrow am

I am glad you called, it is not like haahaa they took the car out - they stole it!!
And honestly - NONE of these guys have seen your man - cause from pictures - he looks like I guy not to mess with

that's the thing- they have all seen him- but I guess since Jake said he would take them for a spin- they thought he was a nice guy
Jake is training to fight in the UFC- and the guys at the school think he's a natural
he isn't someone to mess with-
but he is handleing this like an adult- he will be parking the pathfinder on the street- and maybe I can get him a spot in the building across the street were I park
I was trying to get my car in to the garage- but no thanks

Where is the car now? Do they need to get fingerprints off it, or do they only do that when it's a more serious crime?

the car is in a CVS parking lot waiting for Jake's friend to tow it
they can dust it- but since it's a valet lot- there prints would have been on there anyway
I didn't tell the lady I was calling the police- and the police said they HAVE to turn over the tapes- otherwise I think I would win in court regardless

Wait, your car isn't in the same lot? I thought they were going to make a special exception after they "saw" your SUV?
Man that stinks that you have to go through all of this, especially since one of the reasons you wanted this buildiing was for the parking.

they said my SUV was 1.2 inches to wide- so my real estate agent got me one across the street- at a different building- a favor from the super there
then this weekend- I found 3 of the same make and models of my SUV in they lot- I took pictures of all and I was going to show them and ask why
but then this happened- and I don't want my car in there-
so far I have been very unimpressed with this building

since we are new- jake is a"floater" menaing he doesn't have an assigned spot- so they park his car where there is an open space
he leaves the car keys with them
