If you're done having kids ...
I have Mirena. We're 95% sure we're done, so I wasn't ready to get my tubes tied during my last c-section (though I considered it), but I wanted something reliable and long term.
When the 5 years are up, then I think we'll be 100% sure that we're done, so I'm going to push for my husband to get a vasectomy, because I think it's his turn to bear some of the burden.

I am on the pill bc DH is a huge baby and refuses to have “surgery” and get a vasectomy.

Mirena. I don’t love it.
IF and it’s a HUGE IF we ever had another one, I would have a tubal done while they were doing the c-section. Actually, I’d probably tell them to just take the whole uterus because it would never have another occupant ever again.

I had my tubes tied. I was done being on birth control.
ETA: I was toying with the idea of DH getting cut but he is a male and baby so I didn't want have to really deal with his "recovery" but mostly I figured if for some reason we got divorced I am right back to having to worry about birth control so I figured I might as well get it done.

Pill for last 11 years since after i had DD2. Love very light periods on weekdays only!

Use my CBEFM to track my ovulation so we don't get pregnant. Been working well for over 4 years. DH will eventually get snipped.

Been on the pill for almost 20 years and only stopped to have ds. I love it. Light periods only for like 2-3 days and no cramps.
