Is it wrong to bathe with your child?
Because of my leg problems, I still can't bend well. I have been bathing DS in his baby tub in the kitchen sink. Well, he's huge and it's getting bad!
DH has been great and gives DS baths in the adult tub now. But there are many days that DH is not around when DS needs a bath.
Would it be wrong of me to bathe with him? Should I wear a bathing suit?
If you think it's okay: Should I be nervous about him seeing my breasts, so soon after stopping BF? Am I neurotic? He's 1 year old now.

And you have to do what you need to do, and if that means bathing with him, then so be it

Ok. No offense here, but are you kidding? I shower with DS all the time, it is the easiest thing.
People have been bathing with their children for years, there is nothing sexual or "wrong" about it!

I think this falls in the "sometimes you just have to do what you have to do..." category.
He's only a year old, I don't think he will be emotionally scarred by this and in fact, I think there are plenty of moms who do bathe with their children at this age. I don't think there is anything wrong with it, but if it makes you uncomfortable, think about it as a temporary thing.

I haved bathed with DD. I don't see the problem with it at all.
DH on the other hand,  , thinks its "inappropriate." Whatever, she's my baby.

I bathe with Dylan all the time. I will even go so far as to admit that it is a lot of fun for both of us. He kicks a lot, as you know from another recent story, but the tub seat helps to keep that under control. The other day, he got sick of me playing with all the toys so he tucked them ALL either under his chin or between his chin and the seat.

See? I think showering is different than sitting together in a bath.

I've showered with my son when I was in an rush, and on the weekends DS loves to shower with his father, showering or bathing with your own child is in no way sexual or perverted.

i shower AND bathe with my boys 2 and 3 of them!!! i dont see anything wrong with it..

Bathe away silly..... Kristina already goes into the shower with me....
She sits in her tubby, and I bathe. Once I am done with my shower, then it's Kristina's turn to get all soapy!

Take a shower with DS? Yes, I did it while on vacation. They did not have a bath tub. He hated it but we did it.
I find more practical to do it separately. It's faster for me.
Take a bath? No. I would if I had to but with "female" things I don't want to bath with DS in the same water. I know... I am weird that way! But again, if it was the only way I could bathe DS for a while, then that would be it.
Don't worry about it! Just do what you have to do.

I had them in the shower once or twice when they were babies, but that's it.
He's a year old. You have major medical issues that make it difficult to bathe him alone. It sounds like a no brainer to me.
If you're super uncomfortable maybe make it a bubble bath.
