I took showers with DS up until he was about 2. He still showers with DH but that will probably stop soon. I see nothing wrong with it either.

I haved bathed with DD. I don't see the problem with it at all.
DH on the other hand,  , thinks its "inappropriate." Whatever, she's my baby.

I have no idea.
I think he thinks that she is too "old" and she shouldn't see me naked.
PS - she's less then a year old.

NOthing wrong at all Kelly. I've been doing this recently b/c DD was starting to freak in the bath...she loved bathing w/ mommy.
Now thankfully she's okay w/ the bath again (on her own).

I never did it, but I don't think there is anything "wrong" with it.
Same here..I see nothing wrong with it at all. I haven't done it because I shower in the AM while DH is still home and then I give DS his bath at night.

OMG - not only do I get baked in front of Cailen because he won't leave my side in the morning, he starts hitting my hiney!!!

I think it is fine at that age. You need to do what works for you. The BFing thing might be an issue. How long ago did you stop? I think they can remember for a while. He might start going after you in the tub. NO, no I think he has probably forgotten if its been at least a couple of weeks.

I definately think it is OK --- He is young and I know that for my DD,I want her to see that I am comfortable in my own skin even with all of its flaws. While I don't flaunt, if she sees me once in a while out of necessity it is OK.

I get in the bath with Abigail all the time. I don't think there is anything wrong with it at all. It's more convenient and its a great bonding experience.

I stopped 3 weeks ago.
If he does not try to nurse or rub his head in your chest anymore I would think he has forgotten. YOu could always try it and see, if he appears to remember. HE may not remember, but he may sense that he is missing out on something...KWIM? LOL Even so, you can probably just distract him. I think the actual bathing is totally fine.

I did it all summer long...we come in from the pool, all sunscreened up...just easier to jump in with him then to wash him...then me.
DH would never.

I see nothing wrong with it. DD will sometimes shower with DH or take a bath with me. There's nothing sexual about it. There is no privacy in our house, DD is always around so she's nakedness all the time. It's not a big deal IMO.

ummm...I don't see any problem bathing with your child. Even if you don't "have" to. I mean, that is your baby for goodness sake. If you're bathing with your teenage son, then I would have to draw the line...but your little baby???

I used to do it all the time with Alex - it just became impractical because I didn't want to take a bath everytime she did, so I started putting her in alone, but we still take showers together.

I dont really take baths anymore with DS, but when we did- we would bring in all kinds of toys and just play and play-he still asks me to come in sometimes...
Now he'll just hop in the shower with DH or myself sometimes in the morning- if we are pressed for time...
