5 years later my ds is still an early riser, but at least now he can get his own cereal and put on the tv, while the rest of us sleep until about 7 or 7:30

YES! DS did this around 5 & 6 months...Then around 7.5 months he started getting up at 7 & now at 8 he ranges from 7:30-8:30
