Moms of new crawlers/walkers/sitters
Where do you "put" DC?
I will set Christopher up on a blanket on the floor, but he seems to get bored easily or get off the blanket too fast...and he doesn't he crawl yet, just gets ready to crawl
And how do you set up their toys? Just put them all on the floor? I end up putting him in the exersaucer/bouncer thing we have because he is contained

Re: Moms of new crawlers/walkers/sitters
I put all the toys on the rug and she crawls in the opposite direction so I'm of no help! She wants the tiny dustball in the corner, or the mittens in the basket in the kitchen or to pull herself up on the TV stand. I'm hoping new toys this week will keep her interest, but I'm not holding my breath!
I'm thinking of getting one of those play yard/gate type things to keep her contained to one large area.

Re: Moms of new crawlers/walkers/sitters
I've been spreading a blanket down and securing her with the boppy...she tends to fall backwards sometimes and on the hardwood floor I put all her toys out in front of her, but she still manages to roll across the living room and now she's getting up on her knees and rocking back and forth!!! I know it's just a matter of time that she's off and crawling!

DD loved her playpen at that stage. I dumped a bunch of toys in there and it kept her occupied and she could still watch the tube through the netting.

Re: Moms of new crawlers/walkers/sitters
DD rolls and pushes backwards and is crawling forward a little bit - but she also does this on all fours leaps so she gets around a little-
upstairs in her playroom it is carpeted and I just let her roll around and play. I put toys all over and she just moves around to them. Downstairs is all hardwood - if I put her on her tummy she is fine but if I sit her up I do put a pillow behind her - 1 in 10 times she will fall back and although she sits very well I don't want her to fall that one time and hit her head.
