new moms -- how many date nights have you gone on so far?

DS is 3 months & DH & i have only gone on 2 date nights so far... im hoping to make them more frequent!

we are going on a date night this friday & i cannot wait! not sure what we are doing yet, but im excited! lol

well not a new mom but DS is 13 months and we only went out 2 times without DS since he's been born!!
that's actually our resolution!!

not when he was an infant. we do go out a bit more now, but not as often as we'd like. Problem is we both WFT so during the week we really don't. My parents go out a lot on weekends so getting a babysitter is hard. We try though and now that the holidays are over we'll go out more.

DS is almost 10 months and we've gone out 1 time without him To our friend's 30th bday party.

Other than that, we haven't had a real date night at all. With DH's early work schedule, it makes it hard, but honestly, it's been fine so far.

I don't think we even had 2 date nights before he was at least 6 months. We went to dinner for our 1st wedding anniversary a month after he was born (he was born a months before it) and it was so traumatic for both of us that we inhaled our food and ran home. It was quite a few more months before we went out again.

I just went on one this past weekend DD is 18 months old I can count on one hand how many date nights we have had!!

all of our friends with kids have always gone out on 2-3 date nights a month... i thought that was the norm?

Just once, but DS is only 6 weeks old. My parents are excited to babysit but it's hard to leave the little man for long periods of time.

Well since we have 2 under 2.....now they are 19 months and 6 months...

I would say that since i had my 19 month old. We've gone out for our anniversary both years, gone to a wedding, and gone out maybe 2 other times. Not much in the past 19 months.

So far we have gone out 4 times without DD, and she is 5 months.

She is so good when we take her out - we usually just take her with us, we love it!

I spend 45 hours a week away from her at work so I really don't feel like leaving her yet. Makes me sad and DH feels the same way

i know i know, its not healthy blah blah blah but for us, we are happy with it!

Let's see...DS is 16 mos and we've been out at night with another couple 2x since DS was born, and once we went to family party at hall. I don't consider any of those nights out as "date nights".

We both work full time, and my mom watches DS full time for us during the day. Our weekends and nights are spent with our son. He's usually asleep by 8pm. There's plenty of stuff for us to do together inside the house. We don't need to hire a babysitter and get out of the house to make sure we still feel and act like a couple.

DS is 2 1/2....we have had 2 nights out alone as dates...anything else was to attend a function we had to go to.

Quite a few.
We make it a point to get out alone together every other week or so.
We are very fortunate that my parents and my sisters are very close by and always willing to babysit.

we've gone out 2 times but both times were holiday parties. We have yet to have a date night just the 2 of us. DD is 2 months old

DD is 7 months...and we do dinner alone at least every two weeks.

We just did brunch in the city this past sunday and it felt awesome. Felt like our dating days before baby.

In the first 3 months I think we went out once. Since then (the boys are 13 months now), we go out once or twice a month. We always go after they go to bed at 7pm. We've also been on vacation alone.
