Um, none... is that bad? DD is five weeks old. I don't want to leave her yet. I know I could, but I'm not ready to be out and about without her.
rachel thats not bad at all! the first time we went out without DS, he was 6 weeks old!
its def really hard the first time -- the second time was a lot easier... i just keep telling myself that i need to get used to having other ppl take care of DS

no not at all. Me and DH only went out when DD was 4 weeks old for our anniversary, we were out and back after eating and taking home doggie bags in under an hour. Mind you it took us 20 mins there and back.
I was sooo not into being away from my baby and DH saw it and we came home with our take out for the whole family and it was the best anniversary we had!

DS is 4 1/2 months old. We just had our first date night this past weekend. We went to dinner and a movie. Dinner was great... it was so nice to spend some alone time with my husband and redirect our complete attention on each other for a few hours. I LITERALLY felt like we were dating again haha (I now understand why they call it "date night" when it is your DH). It was also the first movie we had seen (in and out of the theaters) since DS was born. DH LOVES the movies so I am sure this made his night!
Besides that one time... we have only left him when we had to. At 5 weeks, I had to leave him for 1 night and 1 whole day and night in a row (not overnight though) for a wedding rehearsal and wedding. It was so hard leaving him and I definitely wasn't ready but didn't really have a choice. I also had to leave him around Thanksgiving to go to an engagement party an hour away. So 3 times not by choice and 1 time by choice since he has been born.
I have to say... every once in a while is really nice. However, I spend most of the night stressing so sometimes it isn't even worth it.

We are PATHETIC!
DD is 18 months...so I am certainly NOT a new mom...but
First time we went out with out she was 4 months old for my DH's bday (30th)
then next time we went out on a date night was when she was 6 months old.
However we ddi have one night away for my 30th Bday when she was 13 months.
And since then we have been out without her for 1 other date night!
Like I said...the fact that I can COUNT is PATHETIC!

We try to go out once a month. Mil works crazy hours, she is our ace in the hole. My parents just bought a crazy huge house, so im hopung when they are done fixing it, ds will be there A LOT on the weeknds

1! once she is older we'll go at least 1x per month. she's a really good baby, so we have been able to go out to dinner w/ her sleeping and not waking up.

DD is 6 months old.
WE had a wedding when DD was 2 months old and my mother in law took her overnight for the first time then and has taken her over night once a month since. So, right now we have had 5 overnight date nights.

I can't say there's any been true 'date nights' - where we say, hey let's have a night to us and get someone to watch Riley. But we have had nights out that are random and sporadic...like baseball games, concerts, maybe one or two parties. Otherwise, we don't really make a habit of it. I know we should but man it's expensive...I don't want to make my mom come out here from LI to NJ, or pay for a babysitter.
