Back from my ultrascreen and I'm measuring exactly 13 weeks today. Baby looked good and the profile looks totally different than my DD's did. I told the tech it looks like a boy so she went searching and sure enough we think it's a boy. She printed me out a inbetween the legs shot and it looks really obvious. We shall see.... how exciting!!!!!! I go next week for my diabetes test- blah and sono I hope baby is spread open so we can see gender too!!!

I've been having some pretty whacky dreams, and they are so vivid.
Can't wait for my Level 2 in May to find out what we're having!

Last night I had a dream that I was in a school play, The Wizard of Oz, and I was Dorothy. I kept having to run off stage because I had to pee.

Congrats to all of us!! We are in our 2nd trimester girls!!!
How's everyone doing?? I landed myself in the hospital Friday night because I basically had cramping from not drinking enough. Needless to say I have a water bottle attached to me at all times now during the day. Hope everyone is doing good

Has anyone scheduled their level II yet? My next appt is at the 18 week mark, so I am hoping the doctor will tell me the sex then, but if not, my level II will be the following week.

Re: October Mommies Thread
I'm in my 15th week, and had the ultrascreen (which the sono part came out fine - I find out blook results on Monday at my next appt). I have the glucose sometime next week, or the week after, just have to have it scheduled.
Been feeling good... no nausea... but one thing has been happening a lot... I get out of breath while standing on the train for too long (it's obvious that I'm prego, and people just stare at my belly, then look at my face, and haven't offered their seat). Anyway, someone told me that it means that my baby has a lot of hair already , or that the baby is high up. I thought it was just my body over-working, and me feeling those affects.
Anyone else feeling like they can't breathe 100%?

At my office, i have an appt every 4 weeks. So I would think you would have an appt. at 18 weeks with your regular Dr. and then the level II at around 20 weeks with the lab that is doing it. I have a regular appt. at 17 weeks and then my level II 3 weeks later. I believe the Level II is treated like a separate appt. from your regular OB appts.

Yes! I get out of breath so easily now. Supposedly pregnant woman require more oxygen than normal, so that accounts for the breathlessness.
I thought the glucose testing was done between weeks 24-28.

So glad that the sono for the Ultrascreen went well! Good luck with the blood test and the upcoming glucose test!
People are so rude not getting up for you!! Short story: when I was a police officer assigned to Transit about 10 years ago, on more than one occasion, I have MADE young able men get up to allow a preggo woman to sit down. I am pretty loud anyway, but I made everyone aware that I was not taking no for an answer and that young people should be ashamed for not giving up their seat for a preggo or an elderly person!! One kid decided he wasn't gonna get up, so at the next stop [I think it was 96th St on the #1 train] I held the train, dragged him by his jacket, kicked him off the train and out of the transit system. The whole car clapped for me. It was pretty crowded too. Teenagers are sooo obnoxious!! I hope you never have to stand for long again on a train!!

Re: October Mommies Thread
I'm going for my Quad AFP test next Tuesday. I have to get a blood test, a sonogram and stay for a seminar It's all new to me...I didn't do this the last time with Jared.
Other than that, I'm in my 11th week (beginning of 3 months) and I've only gained 5 pounds!! I'm sure that will change quickly.
My neighbor and my friend told me that my face has already changed...I'm more cheeky. My neighbor *thinks* this means I'm having a girl.
