I had my nucheal trans. last Friday. (I was exactly 13 weeks) The mean sono tech refused to give me a guess as to what team we were on. she was a real witch. lol Doc said it takes 10 days to get my results back for the blood test, although the sono looked good. the baby kept rubbing his/her eye and head. it was so cute.

I go for mine tomorrow. Where did you have yours? I am going to Madonna's Babylon office. Hope their not too evil there!! I'm getting my results on the 21st...just 6 days later! Chat Icon

I live in TX! So that's where I got mine done. It was at an actual imaging place, as opposed to a regular doc's office, which I feel have a better bedside manner.

Good luck tomorrow!

Oh! Well I won't be going out there! Chat Icon Thanks for the good luck. I am nervous about everything being ok. I can't even enjoy the pregnancy because I am always worried that something may be wrong. Chat Icon

lmao

Yeah, I know what you mean. If it's any consolation, this is my 3rd and I STILL worry about every little thing.
Enjoy your sono tomorrow. You're not going to believe how much of a baby your little one has become. Chat Icon

I'm doing my AFP test tomorrow.

So soon? You're about 12 weeks, right?

That's what I said when I called up and they said they can do it as early as 12 weeks.

That's wierd, its not supposed to be as accurate until 15-18 weeks.

Re: October Mommies Thread

Hi ladies!

I had my first visit with my ob yesterday since being released from the RE. It was amazing! My due date is now 10/28/08. I measured exactly 11 weeks 6 days yesterday. My ultrascreen is scheduled for Monday, 4/21. After that my next ob appointment is on 5/8.

I can't believe how big my little one has gotten! There are pics in my album.

I am feeling better. Much less reflux although I still have no appetite. I've lost 12 pounds since getting pregnant (although I think I was bloated from the fertility drugs).

I am almost out of my first trimester!

Well, you have to do it anyway... might as well get it out of the way if it can be done now, huh? Chat Icon

Re: October Mommies Thread

I had my ultrascreen at Madonna's Babylon office...what a fatastic experience!! Our sono tech was awesome! She told us what she was looking at and had a fantastic sense of humor!! The little gobblin is looking great. He/she was bouncing all around and her HB was a strong 172bpm. Even though I am nervous throughout this pregnancy, I felt a lot better after today's experience! Here's the gobblin:

Re: October Mommies Thread

Went to the dr. on monday and we heard the heartbeat for the first time. the last 2 times we just saw it. I am in my 12th week and I have been feeling great all week. We also had the nuchal test, which we don't get the results back for a week, but the dr. said that the measurement was really low and that is a really good sign.

Re: October Mommies Thread

I went yesterday for my 16 week appt. They did the AFP test and I got the results from the ultrascreen and everything is great (1 in 1300 for downs and 1 in 1000 for trisomy I think??). I am up a total of 5 pounds so that's not to bad. AND... I get to go for my level 2 in 2 weeks (at 18 weeks) and we're going to find out the sex so I am so excited!!!
