We have our anatomy scan for 3/20 at LIJ. Wooo! 16 week appointment in a week and a half. Can't wait to see what the little munchkin looks like after a few weeks.
Everyone is saying we're having a boy - all my symptoms "lead to it" lol. DH and I have no idea, we'll be beyond thrilled with either, but just because everyone says boy, I'm going to go with girl LOL

*** Official August 2014 Thread ***
Nt scan was awesome; tech took her time so we got to see so much of the baby....even threw 3d on for us....she strongly feels baby is a girl but told me not to shop (gave me the 3 line picture) but reminded me it's early and she has seen it where this "guess" ends up bring wrong..... And I'm elated to report baby looks awesome!!!! I go back for anatomy scan 3/20!!!!

Yay! We have our anatomy scan on 3/20 as well!!! That's 3 of us? I have a strong feeling its s boy, but I was wrong with my DS lol. This baby's heartbeat was 179 and 170, and I was told high heart rates indicated boy. Wonder if that's right or an old wives tale!

I believe heart rate over 150 usually "means" girl under 150 boy...... But that's just an old wives tale

Oh you're right! Lol thanks. Im sure it's prob not true but fun to guess ??

I think we have told just about everyone now... But with my first we waited until about 16 weeks. It was our fun little secret for a little while!

We told closest/immediate family between 6-8 weeks, a few close friends right before 12 weeks, work people and a few more family members right after 12 weeks, and announced it officially to everyone around 13 weeks.

The world knows as of Valentine's day, I was a little past 13 weeks. We announced it on facebook with this little poem.
Roses are red, violets are blue Cupids been busy...because there is a baby due.
We told our families when I was about 10 weeks.

How's everyone's bumps coming along so far? :) Mine is definately not shy and is fully out lol my belly button also is starting to come out more out to the surface (I'm an inney)...That probably was the weirdest/strangest thing to date, just seeing it higher up. Not sure why that caught me off guard but I couldn't stop looking at it this weekend lol

I'm 15 weeks tomorrow and no ones believes I'm pregnant with twins! My belly has def not popped yet. I have been wearing maternity shirts but that is just to fit my chest lol I guess I'll enjoy it while I can bc I'm sure one day I'll wake up with a huge belly!!!

14 weeks and no bump yet.
I got to see the baby today and go over the part 1 of the NT scan. Baby looked great. Nuchal fold measured 1.7 they like to see it under 3. Test for downs was 1 in 2,700 and for Trisomy was 1 in 10,000.
Also my OB told me today that they deliver at LIJ or South Nassau, not Winthrop like I had thought. I chose LIJ because I heard the Katz center is amazing!
