Had my NT scan this morning at LIJ. Anyone giving birth their...everyone I came into contact was phenomenal! So sweet and accommodating!!! I have my dr app tomorrow to go over the scan in full.
Scheduled the gender scan for St Patrick's day!!! Only 6 weeks away from that.
Told some friends over the weekend. Have a few more friends to tell in person then it's on to taking some pictures for the Facebook announcement.
And the belly popped a little this weekend...can definitely see the start of it!!!

Hey girlies - I can't find my paper from doctor that says medicine that's okay and not ok....Are cough drops safe?
Coming down with what feels like a cold and can't stop coughing, so hoping I can have them.

Cough drops are fine...I liked the Ricola ones. I went through a coughing phase when I was sick at the end of December.

I believe anything without menthol/herbs is safe. I used Ludens Cherry last week when I had bronchitis. Reminded me of when I was a kid.

My nt scan is Thursday; I'll be 13 weeks 1 day however every sono has shown the baby measuring 2-4 days ahead.... My friend who is tech is saying that if the baby measure ahead at this apt they will not get the measurements they need to do the test and if we get the storm they are predicting Wed into Thursday and apt is cancelled they will be unable to reschedule..... (They aren't there Friday -Sunday)..... Now I'm freaking out that they aren't gonna be able to do it..... How late did you all get your nt scans and was your baby measuring ahead?

I believe 13 weeks 6 days is the latest..... so if the baby is still measuring ahead it would measure 13w 5 days.... my friends strongly suggests changing the apt, but I remember having a really hard time making an evening apt so DH can come... (he has missed every sono!) I guess Ill call on Monday :/

I called today and they moved up my apt.... tech isn't in apparently in the evenings on Tuesday- so we are going on Wed...

I downloaded the Baby Bargains Book about a week or two ago and have been going through it.
It is soooo helpful - goes into detail rating everything from cribs to strollers, to baby bath tub things. And where to buy them, pricing, etc. Highly recommend it - at least for us, it was super overwhelming being at Buy Buy Baby and seeing all the options and this really helps to nail down what to concentrate on.

Also the tech told me I was having Braxton hicks while having the ultrasound. She also gave me an 85% gender prediction of a  .

My scan is tonight and Im hoping the tech gives me a guess, but I doubt it (I plan to ask for a money shot pic- so I can stare an obsess over it the next few weeks )

Scan is set for St Patrick's Day...so we'll find out if we're having a little lad or a little lass. No inkling of what I'm having yet...and I'm torn cause we already have the boy name picked out but girls clothes are just so adorable!!!

Im going for a 3d gender scan privately at 16 weeks (3/6)
Ill schedule my anatomy scan with the dr tonight...Im hoping it will be around 3/19-3/20 since we will be here after that... (Ill be 18 weeks- so I think it should be fine!)
