*** OFFICIAL DECEMBER 2014 THREAD ***
Had a dream last night that I was induced at 30 weeks (which is only 2 weeks away!!!) and had a quick drug free birth with an 8lb baby. Induction is on my mind! Going to talk to my dr about induction around 36 weeks. I had such a good induction with ds1 and I'm afraid of this baby being too big and going very late!
Still hearing a lot of comments about how big I am and now we're adding comments about the name we chose... Haven't been feeling great, which is the opposite of how I felt for ds1. This one moves a lot more than ds1 did!!!! Still haven't started on his room...

Hey ladies! Hows it going? Any updates?
SOOO I made it to V-Day (viability). I have been waiting for this day forever. I feel like a tiny weight has been lifted off my shoulders. I feel him move a lot now. OB appointment this week for sono and GD test. I'm hoping everything is looking good.
Awesome! I'm 24w5d. Feeling good, I feel him move a lot in the morning and at night. I had a OB appointment last Tuesday, just a checkup, no sono, but heard the heart beat and she said everything looked good. I also got my prescription for my GD test...not looking forward to it. lol. Thinking of scheduling a 3d ultrasound soon.
Thanks! Glad all is going well! Where are you thinking of doing the 3D sono? How does that work?

Boo to people making comments. I haven't even kinda started the room yet. I haven't bought furniture. IDK I figure it will get done at some point. I'm really in no rush.

*** OFFICIAL DECEMBER 2014 THREAD ***
Went on vacation for a week and came back to a 99 day countdown! Aaah, I've been putting everything off until after this trip and all the other summer craziness so I guess I need to get moving.
One of the highlights of my trip was being stopped by 2 couples in an ice cream shop to ask my due date. They told me three of their daughters were pregnant and all due in November so I made them guess first and of course they all said october or early november! I laughed and told them december 18th. Thankfully that stuff doesn't bother me although I did not enjoy getting on the scale this morning after tons of great food all week. Eeek!

YES!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm dragging every day. Some days I can barely stay awake at work. Then I get a second wind around bedtime - DS2 is kicking up a storm through the day and I'm still feeling the nausea at least once a day...

*** OFFICIAL DECEMBER 2014 THREAD ***
Figured it was time to bump this thread a bit! How is everyone feeling?
I'll be 30 weeks this week and it's really starting to catch up with me. I'm so achy by the end of the day and DD is not thrilled with me wanting to sit with my feet up!
I dug out most of my newborn stuff last week and I'm trying to figure out exactly what I need to do before this baby comes. Mostly I'm trying to push DH to get our master bath done asap bc I certainly don't want to bring a new baby home to a construction zone! Getting DD out of the crib and into a toddler bed is my other big task. How's everyone else doing?

Doing okay so far. I'll be 29 weeks tomorrow. I had some issues with the 3 hour glucose test, the drink made me sick the first time before I could make it to the 2 hour blood draw so I had to retake it on Thursday. Luckily I got the call on Friday that I passed. We picked up paint samples yesterday for the baby's room so we'll test those out today. back aches, mostly when I'm sitting down and sleeping seem to be the issue for me. I have a hard time getting comfy - I'm sure it will get worse. lol

31 weeks on Thursday; feeling better good minus a few aches here and there and the exhaustion. Let's not talk about that!
Planning on digging out the newborn/0-3 month clothes and washing everything over the next few weekends so we can be somewhat prepared. Can't believe December is right around the corner and not in a good way!

31 & 1/2 weeks, baby boy is measuring about 1 week ahead, and was already 3lbs 11oz last Thursday! He is in position, head down, and very comfortable there. Just hoping my placenta moves up a little more so I can deliver vaginally, otherwise scheduled c-section for me.
8 months and the constipation is just now hitting me hard, thinking I need to ask the doc about taking something because I'm going on 3 days here and NOT comfortable.
DH is home this week (he started a new job last week and negotiated to have this week off) and is painting the upstairs bedrooms and then carpet will hopefully be installed on Thursday. Things are getting real!

31 weeks here. Was surprised to buy milk today with a sell by date of only one day before my due date! Guess it's time to think about actually crossing some things off my multiple to-do lists! Growth sono next week- curious how big this LO is predicted to be. Feeling pretty good so far- hope all of you are too!

Ha, DD keeps asking "mommy, how you feeling today? You need a rest?" Lol. We just transitioned her to a toddler bed last month. I was so afraid, but it honestly went very well. She fell out and I'd find her asleep on the floor a few nights the first week, but other than that she was very excited about the whole idea. Good luck!

So cute! DD tells me no, I don't need a rest. That's great that she had an easy transition. I hope we're as lucky. I'm hoping she just doesn't realize she can get out, lol. Days like today when she takes 30 minutes to settle down and fall asleep for her nap is what makes me nervous. I can't survive without her naps!

32 weeks and feeling completely unprepared!!! Haven't started the room (ripping down paneling, putting up drywall, carpeting, painting, etc). DS1 is very clingy and defiant recently (someone taught him to say "no, I don't want that" so of course it's his answer to EVERYTHING!). Feeling great except for some back pain and heartburn. DS2 is all up in my ribs. Growth sono in one week! Excited to see him again!!

Hey everyone! I was wondering how you all are doing!
I'm 28 weeks...can't believe its the 3rd trimester. I think people are finally noticing I'm preg and not just fat. This weekend my first stranger asked when I was due! I keep on forcing myself to eat bc I'm worried about the baby's growth since he had dropped in percentile for weight. I'm not really gaining so its annoying. I am being monitored for growth restriction. I get to see him this week and I hope hes on track.
Whats up with rib pain? My right rib hurts often. Also I'm hating the tossing and turning every night. I just wanna sleep. Oh and I failed the 1 hour but passed the 3 hour test. Always something to worry about.
I hope everyone is doing well!!!

Do your ribs hurt? My right one is killing me. Can the baby be up that high already?

I had the rib pain last time and this time always on the right side. Everything just gets so squished up there and I have a short torso to begin with. Thankfully it subsided for me. The heartburn is horrendous though!

Well its good to know I'm not the only one with rib pain. I try my best to wear sports bras and no underwire and it helps but still I get some pains.

Yes rib pain, and 2 nights ago, braxton hicks! OW Anyone have a feeling of such pressure, the baby's practically hanging out of your you-know-what?
P.S. I am having the baby November 28th (scheduled C) or before, if he decides he's headstrong

I just came from my doctors appointment. I asked about the Tdap shot, which i thought was given during pregnancy, but he said its given to me after delivery and before I'm discharged. What's everyones doctor saying?

With my first 2 years ago I got it the day after I delivered. This time my doctor said the new suggestion is to get it before delivery bc some immunity will be passed to the baby. I got it yesterday at my 30 week appointment. The info sheet they gave me said the ideal time is between 27 and 36 weeks.
On a related note, did anyone's doctor give any info about how long you need to wait between getting tdap and the flu shot? I didn't think to ask while the doctor was with me so I asked the nurse. She said 2-3 weeks but it sounded like she was just guessing and trying to be on the safe side. I'd like to get the flu shot sooner rather than later.

Same here- got the Tdap at my 30 week appt this time around, was given it in the hospital after delivery 2 years ago. Recommendation has changed.
As far as waiting for the flu shot. My OB was out of the shot but it sounded like if they had it in stock, he would've given me both right then. He said I could go get it anywhere, and didn't mention waiting at all.
