I had my surprise shower on sunday. I thought it was going to be in september. It was really great. My mom hosted it at Mama Lombardi's. Great place and food! It was so wonderful to spend see everyone. I wish it were longer to mingle.

Good morning ladies! So I'll be 30 weeks tomorrow ( I can't believe it!) and at my doctor appoinent yesterday the doctor said she could feel that the baby has turned upside down. I was starting to think she had bc I have been feeling more pressure on my bladder lately and when she hiccups I feel it really low in my pelvis. So I guess she's getting ready! Is 29 weeks early for the baby to turn? Also, no more monthly appointments, now it's every two weeks and then in September every week! I can't believ how close we're getting to October!

Definitely not too early. DD was head-down at 28 w and I had a really easy l+d wirh her. I'm hoping DS is turned by Tues which is my 30-w appointment (I'm oot this week) because last week he was frank breech which is scary.
I know what you mean about every two weeks! It seems too soon!!

I can't believe we're all around 30 weeks already (i'll be 30w on Sunday)!!! It's seriously crazy to think we're about 3/4 of the way there!
ps: i know it's different with each doctor, but approximately when do internals start?

I'll be 31 weeks tomorrow, and still haven't started bi- weekly appts. They'll start after my next appt., at 32 + weeks.
MrsRapz, my drs. don't do internals until 38 weeks, but I think they're a little later than most.
Sometimes it is hard to believe we've only got 2 months left, but time seems to be going slowly at times as well. We've got the nursery set up, and all of our baby gear from the shower - now we just need the baby!
We are doing an all day Lamaze class on Sunday. I am nervous and excited!

I'm 31 wks today, can't believe i have 9 more to go!  our  decided to flip and is now breech, i am hoping she flips again by the next appt. i'm starting my bi-wkly appts and also growth sonos every 3 at LIJ due to my diabetes. getting really anxious, just want my shower and all the baby gear set up. can't believe how fast time is flying!! i'm def getting nervous with her due date fast approaching.

that's great that you're totally ready for Baby! I'm not even close to being ready (don't have ANYTHING, not even a crib yet) but i feel like i still have time - lets's hope i'm right!

My doctor says he starts around 37 weeks. I"m definitely not looking forward to that!

We are 29 weeks, so happy b/c I passed my 3 hour GD test, which was a pleasant surprise as I barely passed w. DD1 but this time I passed all 4 blood draws. I am attempting to clean out the babys room, DH has work ahead of him to cart all the storage boxes out of there lol. Since this is baby #3 for us we have most of our baby gear, but I have been picking up some stuff we need here and there which is making it exciting. DD loves to pick out outfits for her little sister and both kids keep kissing my belly and talking to baby girl. I love that they are getting excited about her coming. Now we just need to agree on a name for her, we are not even close. DH likes really old fashioned, traditional names and I dont care for them as much so we are at an impasse. The kids keep calling her Emma, I would prefer to stick with that so all 3 of us are working on DH lol. Hope everyone is feeling well!

How did your shoot go??? I lost the thread for a few days so I'm just seeing this!
We sent out invites to our Baby-Q (family cookout) and I'm really happy because I think it's going to be a fun alternative to a shower! I hope people can come!

We had our shoot with Amand Picone yesterday and it was so much fun. I am loving the teasers! they're in my album.

aww, those pics came out so cute!
doing ok over here ... yesterday was DH's birthday and we both ate a ridiculous amount of food. Not feeling so great about myself physically today (and i have horrible heartburn) but otherwise, i can't complain too much.

Yuckie! i know how you feel. i have GD and feel guilty and anxious at every meal scared about my sugar levels afterwards

i know, it's ridiculous ... i'm starting to stress about the fact that LO will be here soon and that DH and I have NOTHING done. If Baby gets here early, we're totally screwed!

30 week appt, head is down, measuring 6 days early for 62% percentile... because of the GD & prior preeclampsia starting weekly sonos and non stress test next week. arghhh I'm going to be sick of the perinatal place.'
overall pregnancy weight gain now at 3 lbs - thanks to the GD diet

Hi ladies - all is well over here. I'm 30.5 weeks. I'm starting my frequent visits now.
Not really sure what to expect - I guess with the GD I have to do stress tests? Who knows.
But, I did get a little taste of MS again the last 2 days....
Anyone else getting a rebirth of MS!?!

I have nothing done either! I hope I can pull everything together but I'm sooo tired. I was counting on at least two weeks off from work, but now I'm hoping baby comes early so I won't have to be induced due to GD.

seriously?! three pounds!? i'm so jealous!
i'm up about 25-30 pounds now (at 31 weeks). Can't wait till Baby's out and i can start losing some of this!
Next appointment is in a week - they'll tell me when my Growth Sono will be so i'm excited.
Insanely sick of doctors otherwise though! Not looking forward to weekly appointments.

We had the 3d sono this passed week. DH thinks she looks just like me. Pics in my album. I went for a growth sono. Originally Dr. said she's in the 47th percentile. The MFM specialist says she's about 4.5 lbs. I guess I'm looking at a 7-8lb baby.
