Hi ladies - all is well over here. I'm 30.5 weeks. I'm starting my frequent visits now.
Not really sure what to expect - I guess with the GD I have to do stress tests? Who knows.
But, I did get a little taste of MS again the last 2 days....
Anyone else getting a rebirth of MS!?!

Hi ladies glad to hear everyones feeling well (and looking great too in tjose pics) I am 29w4d and found out earluer I failed my 1hr!!! nurse said my number was at 150, theyd like to see 120 I have an appt tomorrow with my ob anyway so ill be picking uo my 3 hr rx boo!

Sorry to hear about your 1hour. I failed mine also with a number of 151, but passed the 3 hour with no problems. I am sure you will pass the 3 hour, bring a good book or something cause it is super boring sitting there for that long. Good Luck !

I can't believe the time is flying by so quickly. I feel the baby moving around a lot- not just kicks but it feels like he's shifting around 
I failed my 3 hr glucose test but have been on a diabetes diet for about 3 weeks now and my numbers have been perfect. I always ate healthy but I eat a lot more fruit on this diet then I ever used to so I guess it's working out for the better.
Had my 3D sono this past weekend and I can definitely say it was an interesting experience. He kept pushing on my stomach to get the baby to move which made me a little nervous but it's amazing to see the pics.

I have to say, one of the perks of having GD is the frequent sonos but the wait at the doc's office is really getting old!
We had our hospital tour at LIJ in New Hyde Park last night. it really does look like a hotel. so nice! i hate hospitals so it helps just a LITTLE bit.

So how's everyone doing?
My shower invitations were sent out about two weeks ago and people are starting to buy things off the registry. I'm trying to stay strong about not looking at what was purchased but it's sooo hard. I'm not sure i can stay strong for the next 2-3 weeks 
I hate being preggo though (even though i've bee fairly lucky so far) and can't wait till this little guy is born! Then again, i'm also not sure i'm ready to be a full time parent for the rest of my life so i guess i'm in no rush

I am still feeling pretty good, thankfully. Hopefully you all are too.
Our Lamaze class was definitely helpful. It eased a lot of our fears of the unknown. I'd reccomend taking it for sure.
I will have a growth sono at my next appointment in 2 weeks- I'll be 35 weeks. Looking forward to seeing the baby again and also can't wait to find out how big s/he is. People love to comment on what a 'healthy' baby I must be having since I am apparently huge and look like I'm due anyway now!

gotta love all the comments from strangers! i've been getting them too. it's so annoying! just the other day, a man at work in the elevator told me i look like i'm about to pop and that his daughter in law is due in 2 weeks and looks as big as me. gee, thanks buddy!

A coworker told me my hips got wider and I know have good birthing hips... I'm not sure that's a compliment.

Today SILs friend saw my belly and was excited about it but then she was like 'that sucks thought bc you used to be skinny' I thought that was rude but she's only 16 so I'll just assume she didn't know better.

Had my first growth sono done today. I agree with previous posters, having GD isn't great, but it is great to get to start doing sonos every week now...I love getting to see my little girl :)
So today she's measuring 4lbs 7 oz, I can't believe she's getting so big already. I know there can be big variations in her actual weight vs. what the sono says, but I'm glad she's doing well :)

We are at 31 weeks, I am now remembering how uncomfortable the third trimester is lol. Having more back and leg pain with this baby than I had before, or at least what I can remember lol. According to DH I have blocked a lot out, like how I am not that fun to live with when I am woken up every 2 hours :P Baby girl is still presenting breech, I am hoping she turns soon but she feels kind of wedged in there. DD was breech also, but my doc keeps telling me that doesnt matter as far as if this one turns or not. DH and I are still talking about names, we have some that we agree on but none of them jumps out at me. So I keep torturing him w. new names lol.
As this is baby #3 we are not doing a shower, just picking up a few things for her. The whole thing is kind of surreal, funny how looking at a baby crib or swing in my house is still as amazing and surreal as it was for my first :)

So who else is getting woken up throughout the night by your LOs? My baby girl is so active at night and her kicks wake me up all the time lately and then it takes a long time to fall back asleep. I love feeling her kick and move around but wish she would do it more in the daytime instead. I almost never feel her move during the day but now that it's 1 am she's dancing the night away!

31 1/2 weeks now...... in the last week I've really started feeling like I want to go to the ladies room all the time....... feels like the first trimester.
30 1/2 week sono had the baby at 4lb 1oz, I get weekly sonos now for GD, and non-stress test starting this Monday.

Hey girls! I am GD too, diet is going ok but sometimes it is tough! I am stressed about my 8938490382940 appt coming up for NST's - oy vey. Also been exhausted and emotional - hungry, thirsty, can't sleep good…lol the list goes on! But I am getting very excited and only 8 weeks to go!!!

I'm so glad for the girls on here who had GD and said about icecream for the night time snack - I was consistently failing my fasting 5-10 points over, when I tried the 1/2 cup of icecream my numbers were under 95 and so far(knock on wood) the drs decided to hold off putting me on the glucose pill

3 pounds?! omg i'm i was up 31 pounds at my 30 week visit
love reading everyone's updates - the summer is coming to a close soon and our time is soon, yay! i'm definitely uncomfortable, and only imagine how much more-so i will be in the next 9 weeks. the back pain i have is something fierce and ya know how it feels when you have an uncomfortable outfit/shoes etc on all day? you come home and can't wait to pull it off and change into some nice comfy sweats? yeah well i want to be able to remove my whole body at this point. that's exactly how i feel

Awesome! I tried ice cream as an afternoon snack today and my after dinner number, which has been mid-high 90's, was 85. My fasting numbers have been good with an almonds and cheese night time snack. I'm hesitant to change it since it's working.

Had my 33 wk sono last night and everything is looking good. having GD, the doc told me to aim for 120 after meals instead of 140. Baby is measuring 5lbs 9oz, which is a little bigger than average. other than that, feeling good!
