wait a minute.... my carb snacks, after the meals are only allowed 15-20g....... my fasting numbers have been good with the icecream too.... Breyers has been best to me at 16g for 1/2 cup strawberry, I sometimes get in trouble with the eddies 20g slow churned if its a little over the 1/2 cup.
Yes all my carb snacks are 30. I think they make different plans for everyone and not sure what they base it off of but thinking it has to do with your activity level, your previous eating habits and your glucose test numbers?? I bet they are more strict with people who had bad numbers, mine were borderline.

Oh Mary Congratulations on the birth of your darling twin girls!!! I love their names!! Sounds like they were a very good size for 32 weeks, too! I'm so glad you were being monitored closely and they were able to get them here and take good care of them!!!!! (I have a good friend who had a 32 week loss last year, and she is a HUGE proponent of GET THE BABIES OUT if they're that far along and it's possible.) I can't even imagine how hard it is to leave the babies at the hospital, but they are in such good care and will be home with you so soon!

PUPPY-LOVE - ok now I'm jealous... I'm not active, but I would have though since I was obese before the baby that I would have gotten extra snacks to eat... my numbers have stayed in control with diet alone, so I guess I can't control. Plus I dropped alot of pregnancy weight in the month I've been on it.... I'm now only up 2 pounds since January when I got pregnant - and the baby was 4lbs 2 weeks ago.

So today I woke up to lower right jaw pain... it doesnt seem to hurt in my teeth... I googled online and it seems pretty common in pregnancy........
This pregnancy feels like its one health issue after another, my son I didn't feel sick til my feet swelled at 34 weeks before preeclampsia bedrest. This one I've been seeing specialists all the time it seems.

had a 3d sono today but my little wouldnt show her face  i was so dissapointed but they are letting me come next sunday to to try again...i went to impoact medicalin hicksville and they were great...we tried everything to get her to move but i guess shes gonna be as stubborn as i am...boy is my dh in trouble...lol

Omg, how horrible for your friend! Can you tell me what the cause of her loss was? Although it's upsetting to hear, I'd rather have a heads-up on things to look out for, ESP being pregnant w/twins & 32 wks tomorrow (and I'm still scared out of my mind!)

I sent you FM. It was a very uncommon situation and nothing you should worry about!! She was pregnant with a single but measured very very far ahead every week. All our doctors would be monitoring much more closely than hers did (she since switched OBs and has subsequently had a beautiful, healthy baby boy who is almost 4 months old with no complications).

Congrats Mary!! Love your girls names, hope that you can rest up and recover and soon will have your girls home with you :)
We had our maternity pics done today. Even though this is baby #3 I had never had them done before, but a friend has her own photo biz now and I trusted her to do them and not make me look huge lol. She even got me to do belly shots which I swore I would not do, but I am happy with the previews I have seen so far. I am sure I will be glad I have them when she is 16 and driving me nuts ;)
Speaking of baby girl is still breech, just as DD1 was. I am going to try some yoga style poses to get her to move, but not too optomistic. If she does not flip our c/s is scheduled for 10/12. I cannot wait to hold her in my arms!!

My carb snacks are 30 also. i'm starting to see my fasting and morning meal numbers creep up. And yeah, the doctor had me change my plan from 140 to 120 after meals based on the sonogram that was done that day. come to find out at LIJ last night that baby isn't as big as the other sonographer estimated and the doctor there wasn't concerned at all about my numbers. it's very frustrating having different doctors tell you different things! I have my regular ob/gyn, the dietician, and the doctor at LIJ.
what is everyone having for breakfast???

hi ladies... so here i am at 31 weeks, 4 days...
and here is my little girl at 31 weeks, 6 days!!!
she was playing kissy face and making all sorts of movements with her mouth, it was the cutest thing. the tech said she's approximately 3lbs, 13oz which puts her in the 21st percentile. we were able to see that she has some hair too!
as of the sono, my was breech - on my right side, laying in a V position so that her head and feet were next to one another. i hope that position is comfy cozy for her, bc it sure isn't for me!
we'll see what happens as far as her weight and position in 4 weeks, but for now i am praying this little girl turns!!

Don't know if it helped or was a coincidence, but he's flipped! Give it a shot!
As far as it being September, I'm not quite ready for the baby!!! But we'll see what happens!

I can't believe the time has flown by so quickly. I'm going back and forth between being excited for the baby to be here and wondering how my labor will go.
Soon I will be at the Dr very often. Aside from the weekly OB visits, I'll have weekly non stress tests and biophysical profiles for GD. Never realized how time consuming everything would be

Time really has flown by! I can't believe that we're already reaching the point where we could go into labor at any time. I'm excited, but also really nervous. Just trying to focus on getting as much done as possible to be prepared for the baby's arrival. Our nursery is pretty much done (pics in my album ) so I feel relieved about that. I go for my 36 week sono in two weeks, and will also be starting the weekly doctor visits soon. I can't believe I'm already at that point already! Wishing everyone a happy last month or two of pregnancy!

Your nursery looks great! i plan to unpack and wash everything from the shower this weekend and finish up our nursery. I'm with ya on feeling excited yet nervous for labor!

New here ! been reading alot posts though for few days..
I am Due OCTOBER 3rd ...with my 3rd baby- very much a surprise baby with my boyfriend Robert of over year. ( he is 7 yrs younger than me too:) and he has no kids til now ) Ill be 43 in november, my other 2 kids are 11 and 13 from my Ex.
Had my 1st (son) natural, --had miscarriage in between -- and my daughter was emergency c section... so I am hoping to do VBAC with this baby ( I had miscarriage at 6 wk in Aug2011 as well- with Robert , and he is very excited about this baby girl coming, and that we made it this time !!!
35 weeks and 2 days... a bit scared about the VBAC and things going wrong, but hoping for good outcome...
Then Robert is wanting to try for a boy after this one...keep telling him im getting bit old for this - but thinking about trying anyway for one more (hopefully not twins) cause they are high in his family-- and schedule a c sec and make sure I cant have any more -lol
I am Eating good and weird but ---with this baby i gain 2 llbs...lost 3 by 2nd appt... gained 1 lb ..gained 6 lbs .. lost 4..lost 2..gained 2 and from last appt week ago lost another 3 lbs..so that put me a pound less than my starting weight ... each Dr appt up till the last 2 have had me measuring right on scedule, the last 2 have had me about week-2 less than I am so
Have had 2 ultrasounds this month for baby growth and she was 4 lb 2 oz , and then 5 lb 12 oz this week . so she is growing and VERY VERY ACTIVE all the time..
Weird but losing the weight somewhere and she is getting all she needs.. Im very active though, have farm chores and thing to do other than deal with house and my other 2 kids...

Hey girls!!! I am happy to announce that i passed my 3 hour!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had an appt last night and while i was hooked up to the heart monitor the baby got the hiccups  they were soooo loud and soooo cute!!! I also found out that my csection date (due to prior medical issues) will be around the 17th soooo we shall see!!
How is everyone feeling!?!?! Its almost September, we are sooo close!

I haven't bought my much yet, but I'm so excited about this cute little Halloween "costume" I got on Zulily today! Baby will be just over 2 weeks old - so it's really pretty pointless, but I don't care!
